Im guessing these are gonna be the locations due to the past and everyone knows them well:

Central-Rosewood,IL
This is the site of the last CSC and it is just outside chicago so many poeple can find it.

Uhh...check again it's about 4 hrs away from Chicago. It's more like "just outside of St. Louis" ;)

Sorry guys, but Chicago is NOT central. Plus, if NY/NJ is picked, the entire South is left out. And, if Southern CA and Chicago are picked, the entire Mountain West and Northwest are left out. JMO.

The Stadium for CA will be in San Diego like always, because they dont like the bay area(northern ca) for some reasons =\. I'm betting a GC will be Northern CA, and a SC will be in SoCal like always.

You may be surprised, you never know! But I think that even the TO's aren't sure yet. Aren't the Gym's going to be in most cities again, kind of like the City Championships?

Correct WeileMom. My PTO doesn't know (or at least he's not telling me) where the Stadiums will be. He's only been told there will be 3-ish.

Stadium Challenges should be in the highest concentrations of players. California, Illinois, and New Jersey or Florida represent the hot spots.

If you live outside this region, that's why Gym Challenges are there.

Gyms will be in cities that have good attendance for past tournaments like State Championship and Prerelease.

Your PTO is right about the 3-ish. As for where they are not even the PTOs that know, know were they offically are. If that makes sence.

I bet the 3 will be in Hawaii, Alaska and Maine.
Doubtful, it'll probably be Guam, Puerto Rico and somewhere in Wyoming, duh. :D

Anyway, I agree that putting one in Chicago would cut out a lot of people (and yes, Chicago is "Central" :p), but with only 3 of these things, no matter where you put them, somebody will be left out... Remember the "Pokémon Rox America" Tour? The Easternmost location was St. Louis, Which cut out everyone east of Indiana basically...

Putting the Stadiums in the most central location of each of the 3 "regions" doesn't work either, because then you'll end up having your Stadium Challenges in like Virginia, Kansas, and Nevada or something.....

The smartest thing to do is exactly what Rand0m said, put them where you have the largest amount of potential players, which at this point are probably San Diego on the West Coast, Chicago in the Central area, and New York/Jersey on the East Coast

Also, St. Louis was the northernmost city these occoured in. Of course, that had more to do with the fact that these events were held in November and October, an I was not about to go out in Milwaukee or Chicago in November.

There are lots of good places for these events to be held, but also a lot of other factors to consider? Which places will have locations availible, etc.?

A while back (I believe in 2002) I proposed a rotation with four regions: Northeast, South, Midwest, and West. Three of the regions would get stadium challenges and the fourth would get Worlds (at least as long as Worlds was to be kept in the United States), and this would rotate every year in a four-year cycle. It's not perfect, and I never realy established the boundries of these areas, but it was an interesting concept.

I feel that Chi-town is the best place to have a central challenge, I don't see why it isn't possible...
people are going to be left out anyway you put them, so it would be best to have a more accessible area to reach and i would believe that chicago is just that....

See ya
