Sakura Con 09/NW Regionals?

I noticed Sakura Con and NW Regionals happen within one week of each other.
so how far is it from Salem to Seattle? (just wondering)

Salem to Seattle area would be about 4hrs. of course that depends on if you need to stop for anything along the way. Hope this helps with your decision making.

What a double header, 1st the best Anime convention in the US (At least we think so) Then the following week you can particpate in what could be the biggest Regional Championship of all time. (and you could help us force Mr Raicu and Pokemather to shave thier heads and beards) It will be a fantastic couple of weeks. Hopefully you can make it.

Anime Expo (Largest Anime Convention in the US) > Sakura Con.

Let's see if you still think that after you have been to Sakura Con, bigest isnt always best (altjhough Sakura Con is now the 3rd largest Anime Convention is the US)
 
I wish I was heading up for Sakuracon this year, but its just not viable in the middle of the term like this, not to mention the fact that the old 3 hours drive is now more like 8!

sakuracon is alot of fun but due to surgery i just had im missing it this year and i was gonna use this weekend to get back into the game but i guess i'll have to check out the local league in queen anne

best of luck to those playing at Sakuracon!
 
Nice day of Pokemon today. We had 13 players in the Unlimited event. and 12 players in the booster draft.
