Well, sorry, but I'm out for now at least if it's EX-on. Sorry.
Wha-wha? EX-on?

I think (or at least I hope) he means EX-on as EXpedition-on, so I believe it's a regular modified tourney...

Actually, I think it has to be expedition-on to be sanctioned. I dont think erich, or anyone else for that matter will have a problem with the wizards sets...They have problems or their own...

So, will they still use that rule that if a card has the same name as a newer one, you can play it? (You can tell I've been away from leagues for an extremely long time) My decks are only about half Expedition-on, and the rest is pre-expedition, so I'm in trouble if this doesn't apply. Also, can energy from any expansion be used (as long as dark and metal are applied right)?

To clarify things:

Modified tournament under Pokemon USA Rules (Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge, Ruby & Sapphire, Sandstorm, Dragons, Team Aqua Team Magma and all promos starting with #'s 001.

Now you can bring your other decks as well like the old modified format ( Neo Genesis to Skyridge )

If a card has been reprinted you can use either older or newer version of the card as long as its worded the same way. You can use and energy's you like to use from any set even though I dont play a lot I am still well verse on any of the rulings under WOTC or Pokemon USA.

Ice'Cold call me or give me a PM about a ride tomorrow?

See you all this saturday!!!

Up date Team Haunt This: down to 2 that can attend tommorow. I E-mailed Ice Cold that I can pick him up, it's on my way but I haven't heard back yet.
Postdog2Gengar- the wording on Metal and Darkness NRG has changed, I'm not sure if you can run the old ones and just play them as the new wording or not though. If not I can help you out. Other cards to watch out for as far as wording would be: Energy Charge is not legal but Power Charge is, and they just changed the ruling on Pokemon Reversal-there's two different wordings, they're both legal but played differently, play them as worded.

just to clarify: these are going to be every Saturday when there isn't a major tournament in the Chicago area, correct?

To clarify a little bit, yes you can play the older Darkness/Metal, But treat them all as if they were the ones printed in EX: Ruby/Sapphire.

For Pokémon Reversal, it's not play as written, all Pokémon Reversals are now to be played like the one in Expedition, so they all go by the following wording:

Choose one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Flip a coin. If heads, switch that Pokémon with 1 of the Defending Pokémon. Your opponent chooses the Defending Pokémon to switch.

Yeah Erich, Dave II offered to drive me, maybe I can get a ride back with you? Just to make it easier on dave II getting to work.

Yes, it was very fun, we only got 8 people though, just enough to sanction it. I got the win, barely edging out Dave by 1 point. I think everyone had a good time.
