Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Saturday tourneys and league in Crystal Lake, (Canceled) read last page for new info

Even though Brookfield CC is Saturday I'll still be in CL. So if you can't make it there you can still play. We'll have a santioned tourney if we get 8.

Is there going to be something next Sat? It'd be kinda nice if I could get in a practice session with my deck before the holidays...

Yes. Be good to see you make it. I take it your grades are up?

I should be there, have to work the night before hand. It'll be a busy weekend, but I could use more practice before the next CC that I am going to.

nah, it's a long weekend and I've got nothing to do for the entire thing. My HW will all be done, and I should be there.

I'll be in the store Dec. 11 and 18. I have a new league I'm starting in Cary so I'll be dropping Dave off to run the League then I'll be going to Cary to be there from 10:00 to about noon. Then I'll be comming back to Hobby Town to run the tourney. If Dave has to go out of town to be in a CC I may have to assign a temporary leader to fill in his shoes while I'm at Cary, probably Danny if he wants to. See you all there.

Sorry folks we wont be in the store agian until Jan. 15. The store will be open Jan. 1st. if you want to gather and play. But there will be no league.

There won't be any sanctioned tourneys at CL until the sat before the CC? I'd like a couple of chances to test out my newest deck before I decide what to use at a premier...

I will be in the store this Saturday for the tourney. I'll stop in at 10:00 before I go to the other store and then be back at noon.

The owner of the Hobby Town Store where my league is located at just informed me today that they will no longer be hosting any card or gaming events. He said that it was taking up too much space on the shelves and not selling enough. He said they were going to be concentrating their efforts on the better selling hobby end of their business. I guess this means that I'll have to shut down this operation and concentrate my efforts on the Overload league in Cary, IL. It is an exclusively comic and card (heavy on the card part) store. It is a smaller store but at least it has the proper focus.

It is located at:

Overload Comics and Collectables (big sign just says OVERLOAD)
3202 Northwest Hwy. (Rt. 14) Unit D
Cary, IL 60013
847-354-2873

It is about three miles east of the Hobby Town store on the north side of the road kind of behind a Throton's gas station.
Thank you all for all of your support,
Dave II

Ah, nice. Closer to where I live, actually. Any good foodstuff close by? I think there's a McDonald's accross the street, anything else?

Yea, it's closer by about 10 minutes with all the traffic lights. As far as food stuff not really. I think you may be thinking of a different place. There isn't a MacDonalds across the street. Remember I said this is a smaller store. To give you an idea, it is a little less than half the size of my origanal store. Not Hobby Town, but the other one.

Had a feeling that was going to happen. Taking up space on probably the busiest selling day of the week and not really selling much. That combination doesnt work real well. Have you tried that hobby lobby like right around the corner?
