Oh...I didn't know that! Thanks! Now I have to find one...

Now I can add Sceptile EX so any suggestions in that direction are appreciated! I'm still really new to building competitive decks. I tried putting something together with the Eevee line but it was a mess and Ashley trounced all over it with Gardevoir.
Do you think:
2 Sceptile EX
2 Sceptile Energy Trans
1 Sceptile Lizard poison

are too much for one deck? I know I only get 4 Treekos so I'm not sure, but I hate to pull out that lizard poison- I love that attack.

Yes! Play Sceptile EX!
The idea is good: nurse, nurse, and nurse again: keep your Sceptile EXs alive. Rayquaza will need to put forth some serious effect to get through 150 HP fully healed. And 100 damage for GGCCC, 60 for GCC, and the Grass Healing attack...Sceptile EX is gonna be good.

The reason Ashley "trounched all over" your deck was because running the Espeon/Vaporeon line was very unfocussed. I've tried it as tECh in my Aggron EX deck, Wailord seems to work better. However, in a deck like this, Sceptile should be run straight, by itself, not with any other evolution line. Just tECh the deck to the max and you should be cool.

Pokemon: 21
4 Roselia
4 Dunsparce
4 Treeko
2 Grovyle
3 Sceptile (Energy Trans)
2 Sceptile EX
2 Wobbuffet

Energy: 17
11 Grass
3 Rainbow
3 Boost

Trainers: 22
4 TV Reporter
2 Oracle
4 POR
4 Pokemon Nurse
3 Rare Candy
2 Crystal Shard
2 Weakness Guard
1 Town Volunteers

You should be able to set this up FAST, so Ditto won't be needed, turn three Slashing Strike sounds pretty cool to me. Shard is enough tECh. You could make the following changes to sacrifice versility but increase speed:

-1 Sceptile (Energy Trans)
-4 Dunsparce
-1 Grass
-1 Nurse

+4 Wynaut
+1 Rainbow Energy
+1 Multi Energy
+1 Oracle

Try to gather Wynaut and a multi or rainbow energy in your hand. You may get better results than Dusnparce, since Sparce searches for basics, and Wynaut can get Sceptile EX out faster. The Wobbuffet stay for anti blaziken EX tECh and everything else.

Good luck with the deck...

I think SuperWoopers idea is the best so far

Pokemon: 21
4 Roselia
4 Dunsparce
4 Treeko
2 Grovyle
3 Sceptile (Energy Trans)
2 Sceptile EX
2 Wobbuffet

Energy: 17
11 Grass
3 Rainbow
3 Boost

Trainers: 22
4 TV Reporter
2 Oracle
4 POR
4 Pokemon Nurse
3 Rare Candy
2 Crystal Shard
2 Weakness Guard
1 Town Volunteers

but i think you should go 1 wobbuffet, 1 Ditto. or 2 ditto. Ditto is really strong in a Energy Transfer deck. Two energy will kill a rayquazza. Septile ex can one hit knock out (OHKO) a Gard EX. Ditto can do it too. Next time I see you I'll tell you how easy Ditto can take out Gard EX. I dont want to say how in public (someone will use it against me..lol).

Trainer wise, the deck needs switch to retreat septile ex. The way the trainers are set up, a 2-2 Delcatty line would work better than 4 Rosies

I'll try to write up a deck list later in the week.

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and this is my very first post, so please be patient!
I am also a playing father, and can understand WeileMom well.

Have you thought of adding a grass Exeggcutor line (Aquapolis, if I'm not mistaken), the one that damages benched Pokémon ?
It works very well with the Energy Transfer Sceptile. The other Sceptiles will be your main hitters, attacking directly your opponent's active Pokémon, then Exeggcutor will finish any big Pokémon withdrawn to the bench or just dispatch your opponent's growing lines when still young.
With plenty of Nurses you will be able to heal Exeggcutor and keep it active for more than one turn even in middle game. But you will need 4 WarpPoint (the most powerful attack trainer in my opinion), in order to remove to the bench your oppnent's active and hit it there with Exeggcutor. You will also need to keep those Roselias.

I reckon that implementing this idea will mean changhing the deck philosophy discussed insofar, and also that it will not be a very strong deck, but a funny one yes, and also an elegant one.

I take back my comment about Ditto easily taking out Gard EX, i wasn't thinking straight.

Hero: You bring up a good point, thats why i was thinking 1-Ditto 1-Wobby. With a Town Voulenteer in the deck you can bring back the right one, depending on what deck your playing against. Wobby CAN'T take down Blaze EX in one hit either. He can do 100 to it but Ditto can do 100 also and get to choose who to do it to. If you opponent places the Blaze EX down too soon before he's ready to attack, you can pokemon reversal and ditto can cause big disruption. Go for the Energy mover first and then the blazikens.
