Playing Location is located on the east end of the Sea Tac Mall

CC Format:

The format will be Modified Constructed. Bring your 60 card deck to play in an age modified swiss match style. There will be a minimum of 4 rounds. These will be 30 minute rounds with players playing a single game. Players play for six prizes in each round. Total number of rounds depends on number of participants. Cards from Expedition- on and Nintendo/PUI Promo cards are allowed. Team Magma and Team Aqua Cards sets released after the City Championships have started Feb 1, 2004 will not be allowed to be used in the City Championship events.

Prizes:
Prizes are awarded to each of the three recognized POP age categories, 10 and under, 11-14 and 15+.
Prizes include EX Dragon booster packs and City Champion award Medals.

The Prize package for the City Championship is as follows for each age group:
1st place: 1 Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (36 packs)
2nd place: ½ Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (18 packs)
3rd & 4th place: ¼ Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (9 packs)

There will be a VIP pack awarded to the winners in each age group if more than 8 player show up for the event. Each winner will receive a VIP package of exclusive merchandise when they register for State Championship on May 1, 2004 at the Seatac Mall. City Champions receive a first round bye at State Championships.

Other prizes may be given out at each location per the discretion of the TO. These can include gift certificates, booster packs, promo cards, holo cards, oversize promo cards, posters, Ex Series Collectors Tin, etc.


CC Side Events: A side event will be held at each CC venue above. These will be held after the main tournament.

Cost: $5
Format: Sanctioned Swiss tournament Age modified Swiss
Rounds: Minimum of 4 and depends on attendance
Prizes: Dragon and Team Magma vs Team Aqua Boosters or other prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to at least the top 4 overall players of the event as a miminum.

An age modified swiss tournament will be held after the main event for players to use their Team Magma and Team Aqua Pokemon cards since the are not legal for the CCs.
