OK, so we all know that there are lots of good techs for GG such as 1-1 palkia x, 1-1/2-2 cresselia x, and many others... but I was considering Dusknoir. I've been testing it for just a little bit and it really is quite effective. Your opponent will more than likely have a pokemon on their bench that they are ready to send up in case you sonic blade them or knock them out, so you just pop it back into their deck and then you sonic blade them and they don't have anything really good to send up. You just keep sonic blading their pokemon and soon they will be set up for bring down. You can then get like 2-3 KOs with bring down. I just play a 1-1-1 line and the duskull can evolve the turn you play it so it is really not that bad. It helps out a lot against fire truk, and it can even be a good late game attacker, being able to do 90 with a DRE and it's attack isn't effected by resistance. I have just found it to be very good and wondered what you all thought. It's not really secret, but I haven't seen anyone play it in GG except this n00b that I was helping (he played a 4-2-4 against my poorly built fire truk and it stunk!)

Thanks for reading and disscuss please!

Uhm... off topic? Please post in the ask the masters questions... thanks!

To your answer: Yes you can, just not draw afterwards

It seems ok, but how many decks nowadays thrive off 4 or more bench? GG itslef only need, 3 benched and one active... :/ (Gallade, Gallade, Gardy X, Grady X) But nice idea though. ;)

I've seen alot of 'techs' for G&G.

    1-0-1 dusknoir
1-1 dugtrio(the one that stops bench hitting)
    1-1 lucario
    1-1 Cresselia Lv.X
    1-1 Ambipom
    1-1 mismagius
    1-0-1 Blastoise D(worst tech ever)
    1-1 Xatu(SW)

Yeah. I would have played a 2-2-1 line if I was playing it.

exactly! the only deck that I think is good and doesn't have 4 or more bench is GG. MOST players in my area are playing pachi and other supporting cards to help their main attacker or speed up their deck (i.e. claydol). YOU CHOOSE the pokemon that gets sent back into the deck. that magmortar that you have been powering up with 4 fire energy-POP! back into the deck. They never see it coming especially if you candy it into dusknoir.

Cresselia and Mismagimus are not bad

    Lulz

    Rofl

    Lol

    Neat.

    Lmao

    OK.

I don't think it is the worst but it looks bleak indeed.

What the furret? (use furret SW for setup instead).

    2-2-1 sounds about right yeh.

Are you ok? Did you hit your head? Blastoise works wonders, it can be the deciding factor in games such as

    - mirrors
    - Banette
    etc.

I guess you have a point with Pachi. ;)

You think that a 1-0-1 ampharos line could work? It could help by spreading damage then snipe with gardeviour lv.X more easily. And it is disturptive.AND you will surprise your opponent

In GG, I usually want to try to start out fast with gallade before your opponent has anything good enough to take it out, more stage 2 lines would take away the rare candys and decrease speed, IMO.

Very true. If I had had a blastoise d in my championship game against banette, then I may have had a chance.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

You do have a point, and it is good, but I think that dusknoir is helpful in getting the last prize more so than amphy. Don't get me wrong, i DO like it, but I just think that in MOST matchups, dusknoir is better.

ampharos does work, its quite helpful.
but there is so many ways to get around using supporters now that it might not be worth it.

you have a point, but just a 1-1-1 line doesn't take up that much space and you don't HAVE TO use a candy, and duskull can evolve on the turn you play it so it can speed up the evolution process a bit.

Unless you are going to comepletely own them and not let them have time to set up, I would usually go for an early Gardy. It helps you set up early on and is a godly attacker against decks that rely on powers to get setup. I'm not saying that T2 or T3 gallade is bad, infact it is VERY good and can OHKO almost all of your opponents pokemon in some cases, but if they pull a rare candy, *insert big powerful pokemon name here*, and a scramble to KO your gallade and YOU aren't setup then they could make a good comeback and eventually beat you (I have done that TO someone before :thumb:)

I played a 1-0-1 tech and it sucked. I could never get it when I needed it.

Not using supporters will counter ampharos but if opponent dosen't use supporters how will he setup?
Cards like celio's,rosean's,mentor'TGW,TV reporter,Oak's visit and more are necessary for every setup unless he uses a ball engine.
