Okay, so I'm new to the TCG and went to a pre-release. I'm hoping to start playing competitively and this is a deck I decided upon. I really need comments and crit on what you all thing would be best to change around. Thank you so much!

Okay, so my basic strategy is to get either Groudon or Darkrai set up depending on what kind of deck I'm facing. I figure Groudon looks like a good counter to Zekeels and Darkrai is a decent opponent to Mewtwo. I'm hoping to use the Pokemon catcher to yank out any Mewtwo's or Zekrom's on the opposite bench and hopefully steam roll them before they get off the ground. I have dark support cards from Explorers to focus on Zoroark or Darkrai and I have Eviolite for Groudon, Tornadus and Terrakion. Skyarrow is there for it's basic purpose and the rest of the support are good draw strength trainers to set myself up quickly if possible.

Groudon EX x2 -DE
Darkrai EX x2 -DE
Tornadus Ex x2 -DE
Terrakion x3 -NV
Zorua x3 -BW
Zoroark x3 -BW

Cheren x2 -DE
Dark Patch x4 -DE
Professor Juniper x4 -DE

I am fairly new to the tcg also but I'll attempt to help, I think you should drop some of the fighting energy and run 4 prism energy(counts as energy but only one at a time for basic pokemon), I also think you should put in a few darkness energy(if attached to a dark pokemon its attacks do 10 more damage). I also suggest running pokemon collector and ultra ball since they let you grab your pokemon faster. Another suggestion is to run PONT over cheren since hand refreshing is always good. Also junk arms are great for reusing your trainers such as ultra ball, catcher and such

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'll rework the fighting energy and look into the prism. I'm not sure about the other trainers but I'll look into Ultra Ball. I was a bit afraid to go putting any HGSS stuff in my deck because I was told that after this season we were going to loose all of those sets from tournament play in the rotation.

-all tornadus and add the regular one

Do you really think Tornadus EX isn't worth it? I'll have to dig up some copies of the regular one then.
