Should G&G be worried about T2 Banette at Nationals?

omg u deleted my post.....whatever...point blank GG WILL LOSE TO BANETTE!!! IT WILL WIN NATS AND EVERY NOOB ON THE GYM WILL PLAY IT @ WORLDS!!!!!GET BEASTED!!!

No... Banette doesn't always win against GG. It does however lose to just about everything else. Don't even TRY and say that you can tech Banette against everything.
 
u dont need to tech alot in ban....omg u people have no idea what your talking about.....what else can beat it...how can it beat it....i have speed and constant 80.....u have what...one powered up poke that im going to knock out faster then u get it set up.....please.....and gg will lose to banette.....y because i have the advantage in everyway......who cares about gg techs......u think a duskinoir scares ban.....i dont need more then 4 poke on the field to win....i mean u say that it loses to everything else...explain....educate me please i must know ur ways master

I'm not even going to try and explain how GG beats Banette or how Banette loses to just about every other deck out there, because you don't seem like the kind of person who would actually LISTEN. -_-

Banette should win the GG matchup 9/10 times,Its THE perfect GG counter. Also you alway say(This deck can tech against this deck and you can tech against this deck,so why couldnt a banette tech a 1-1 line of something and still be consistant,if the build is right,and you have the skillz to play the deck,then it will work.

It dosent lose to everything,Arithemtic is basically a teched out Banette,yet it won some regionals and YOU played the deck somehow,it worked and was consistant. Its too fast and too consistant to lose to EVERY other deck.GG loses to nearly anything now,yet its the best deck in the format???How does that work??

DarthPika you cant explain how GG beats Banette or how Banette loses to everything else cause you dont know. You didnt even make your own "PLOX" deck,You probably bought the matchups also.

First off, for the GG to beat Bannete it has to be a PERFECT list, the Banette can't play cess and it needs a few techs. It is really hard for a Banette player to win if they don't donk a GG that is ready for the matchup. All they need do is put out some big nasty ST2 pokemon that isn't weak to psychic that does at least 80dmg and they can win.

Rain Dancer... must I even explain why Banette loses to most decks out there, or can you really look look at whats being played, what the cards do and still not see it? :/ It's something that really doesn't need to be explained as even a n00b can figure it out. GL beating an Empoleon.... gl

Banette was good then, I used almost the same deck as Eric did so I know how good it was. The metagame has changed and it is now un playable.

ok like i said b4 duskinoir is garbage....what else is not weak to psy in gg that hits for 80 in gg?? u might have a janky noob list and omg u still havent answered what, why, and how banette loses to all other decks....i mean i think ur avoiding it because u cant answer....and whats the only things the new metgame bought was garchomp and empoleon and omg they cant do nething unless the set up...EMPOLEON i will abmit is the hardest match up for banette but it can be beat........ohh yeah if n00bs in pokemon could even think then no one would play GG...i will continue to wait for you explanation onto how banette loses to EVERYTHING!!! and hey if you cant answer thats perfectly fine...ull c @ nats when banette is sitting at top 4....
 
Even with this PERFECT list,Banette still wins. You think alot of GG arent prepared for the Banette,Blastoise d Tech??Dusknoir to reduce bench size even boku use of wager. GG is made to handle EVERY deck it faces,but Banette has too much speed for GG to keep up. Its not about DONKING,anyone can get donked by mostly any deck,thats what GG with more Gallade than Gardy does,its about outspeeding them and forcing them into the worst situation. It happens Majority of the time.

Banette can stand up to mostly any deck, I know cuz Ive played against mostly any deck with Banette when I first started to play it. It dosent lose to everything else,It has the worst matchups against Mag which is the hardest,and Emp only because of the sniping, If you take away the sniping then its even.n00bs dont know that,but n00bs do know how to post and say it loses to everything just because they see other people saying it.

If you aint playtesting against everything then you dont know DarthPika so dont continue to post since you barely can even defend your statements half the time.
 
ohh yeah have i mentioned that gyardos completly shut down Gallade......u waste 3 prize flips for a knock out???? and if u sonic blade it then u know what happens.......either my banette knocks you out or i come back up and swing for 100....get beasted

Hey Peter I dont thin this guy is going to back up anything he is saying....i am going to end this with banette is amazing and it easily beast gg and CAN beat alot of othe deck....hardest match up will be empo......

ps. everyone who is hating on banette is going to feel so stupid when it wins nats....and you will be clowned SUPER HARD by Paarth Shah and Peter Griffen!!!

Banette is a bad deck. Case closed. Normally I would explain it, but to be honest, I'm feeling lazy and will get back to you guys on that.

Well magmortar certainly was popular in my area. There where at least 4 magmortar decks in top cut. Probably more. Banette isn't bad, but it's hardly something to worry about.

Well banette with solrock/lunatone still is pretty much straight banette. And you haven't made any mention of another attacker in this thread so I made the logical assumption that when you refer to "banette" you mean a deck with banette and possibly some cards like lunatone/solrock and maybe claydol. However to even start to think that it could win anything is verging on lunacy. Empoleon destroys banette. If you've done playtesting and beaten empoleon then you are either playing against a very bad empoleon list or a bad empoleon player, or maybe even both. Personally I think the latter scenario is the most likely.
