yeah i went 4-1 and lost to Will in top 8, it was a tough loss as I AGAIN finish in 5th place ><;

Wow... it was nice seeing some VERY OLD faces (never realized HOW young Greyfox was tho)

Hi IPGeek21,

Nice seeing you again. I was really surprised when you came and when you told me everything that happened in the past few years during my hiatus.

Unfortunately I didn't do too well this tournament, but since SoCal is still such a powerful force, I'm not that disappointed. Who would expect somebody to place well if he only had about 1 week of practice :p?
 
This CC was the best I had ever been to, EVER [even though I didn't play in the main event :D]. Jerry was so generous with prizes that I honestly will say I have never seen so many prizes given away at one event like that since the last STS. Thanks Jerry for the great CC and for being so generous!

My only complaint :D is that Nicole and Ashley didn't come, since I was expecting you guys. Where were you?

The GB tourny was fun as well. We really should have more of those since they are so fun to play in. Come on guys, don't you know where Pokemon originated from? :D

Jerry, the boosters I got were gold. You get lucky boosters. Also, thanks for the t-shirt for the GB tourny. :)

Great, great prizes! Jerry is lucky when it comes to getting boosters, lol. He also gives out a TON of prizes. During the tourny when he was giving out everything to the CC people, I was telling everyone how I wished I was playing in it. :D

Anyone else get anything good in their packs or any other prizes?

I got a TR Suicune EX in one of the packs Jerry *cough*gave*cough* to me for beating Matt in round 5 :p

other than that not much >> but it was stil fun anyways. Going 4-1 with a rogue Kingdra deck was hel;la hard to do @_@, good job of hosting it jerry, and see you guys hopefully at Vista in a few weeks.

Awww...we were missed?!
Unfortunately Ashley and I were both sick this week, plus certain family issues kept us home... :(
We really wanted to be there too.

I acquired a Tyranitar EX in the promo booster that contained only two cards. I was told that it was pretty valuable and that I was quite lucky for getting one :).

Thank you Jerry for organizing such a great event. I'll try to make it to your future CC events as well.
 
What I can say is that this CC did live up to its promise of being "So Cals Best CC EVER!!!!". All those prizes that were given away in between rounds was just crazy. Not to mention the TR Returns pack that was given out at the end to the people that did not win in any of the raffles.

Nice job running this turney Jerry :thumb:. Let's not forget the judges Jess and Miguel, you guys had it way too easy :p.

IPGeek21 making a special appearance...........could he be thinking about making a return to the game???

Other than the PLace being smaller than Last Year and a bit of a mess (Should have seen it before we let everyone in), it truly was the Best CC in SoCal. Kinda wish we had more people show up... but I guess it was for the best seeing as we barely fit the 42 that did.
