I remember back around the MT prereleases, there was a lot of talk about the rarity of Time-Space Distortion. Many people said that there was about only one per case. So, does this seem to be the average after all of the MT boxes and cases have been opened -I'd like to know from your experience? I am interested to know this since I never had a real answer. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that still sounds pretty rare, so about 1 per three boxes. The reason I was wondering how rare they are is because they are very inexpensive when compared to their great rarity. I am also trying to get an idea of their availability. Thanks!

pretty rare. but as time goes by and more are opened the value will drop until it reaches a steady price. Most of the ones i've seen are going for between 30-40 dollars.

If you are lucky you now can get one for 25 bucks.

The price has dropped quite a bit recently. 30-35 seems to be around the average price.

they will only stay expensive as long as people pay the price. Night maintenance is always an option.

True, but TSD is much quicker, and possibly game changing if you're lucky. The fact that it syncs perfectly with speed decks (except Banette, maybe Shuppet, though) means that it will be in high demand and remain that way for a while.

But the set will be out of print, making them harder to get after all of the collectors and players have stocked up.

    I did!

Yes, that is the average. I paid about $31 for my second TSD.

People will pay the price. Night Maintenance just doesn't cut it in most situations.

True, true. It is nice because you can store one in your hand and once your active faints, bring out a the matching basic and...... BOOM TSD FTW retrieve the fallen pokemon and add it to hand!!! (Basically I am saying that NM requires another searching card to get the pokemon from the deck, TSD has instantaneous results that don't require support)

OK! Now that that is done. Don't forget people, this thread is to discuss the RARITY of the card, not the price. That is the obvious part, and this is not the price forum! Thanks anyway though!
