1. Okay with Azumarill from RR, if you use Surprise! Time Machine does Froth trigger again? I thought I remember reading that it does, just wanted to make sure.

2. Claydol :psychic: from HL, it's Primal Pull states that the Defending Pokemone pays an extra energy for its attacks. So that means TMs still take the same amount of Energy to use, correct?

For #1 you are not playing the Azumarril from your hand with S!TM, so Froth does not activate, anymore than it would with say, Wally's training.

#2 will need some clarification, as 'its attacks' applied to Primal Pull and 'instead of its attacks' applies to ATM. Standby.

New answer to #2 from the Compendium-EX:
== PRIMAL PULL (Claydol - EX:Hidden Legends)

Q. Does Claydol's "Primal Pull" add energy cost to attacks from TM trainers? The TM's say you can "use this card's attacks instead of its own".
A. The intent of Primal Pull is that the active Pokemon must pay one more energy whenever it attacks, regardless of whether its attack is printed on the card or referenced from somewhere else like a TM or a stadium. (Apr 21, 2005 PUI Rules Team)
Hope this helps,
