Players can compete to be the Champion of their town at the Pokémon Trading Card Game Northfield City Championship on Sunday January 14th at Jester’s Playhouse at 1PM. Registration will begin an hour earlier.
The free events for players of all ages will be divided into three divisions: Junior (born in 1996 or later), Senior (born between 1992 and 1995), and Masters (born in 1991 or earlier). The winner in each category will earn a medal and the title of City Champion.
City Championships players also have the opportunity to earn Pokémon prizes including booster card packs and exclusive merchandise. The City Championships are the first of a series of premier events including the Battle Road tournaments, and state, regional and national championships, all leading up to the Pokémon TCG World Championships in Hawaii.
