Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Special rules for trading promo cards?

Its supposedly a glitch- according to Mike L.

Im very skeptical on how its a glitch, when there is special text that pops up telling you that you can only do the promo for promo trades. That seems very deliberate, and limiting for no apparent reason- other than like the new pack redemption, its a way to try to get players to "buy" promo products. Which is total crap.

I think they'd do well to more add a "Before you make this trade are you aware this card is a promo?" disclaimer on trades. It should be buyer beware about this sort of thing, but at the same time it saves some heart ache to just make the disclaimer.

I agree that the wording makes it seem like an intentional change. I guarantee you it isn't. It's a bug. It's already been fixed on the test server. It'll be fixed on the live servers when we do the next game update later this month.

Yes, because random promos are so rare and valuable.

I just started PTCGO again, since I was able to get a new graphics card. As I recall one of the promos I saw is pokemon catcher.
Which is good if you don't already have your 4.

What i don't fully understand yet is what's the advantage of having more then a play set of a card, since you can build as many decks as you want (good thing may I add) Anyway the online promos may be good trade bait since they do have that shiny stamp on them xD

I can't trade a promo for a promo, I can't trade anything which includes dragon vault cards.
I can't post on their forum and I can't submit a ticket.

And most of all I fail to find that promocard trading rule at all.

More than a playset of good cards (eg Darkrai, Mewtwo and the new Keldeo promo)= Trade fodder for next set! XD
