Just wanted to give this a little bump after Lakewood's BR at The Game Matrix.

I'm nowhere near attentive enough to give a full report, but a good time was had by all. Michael Dias won Juniors division, but I didn't catch any winners beyond that. I myself went 2-3 but that doesn't really matter, I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came out to play, and especially big thanks to all our TOs, Judges, etc! You all made it a fantastic time.

See you all tomorrow (hopefully) at O.C.C.!

Had a great time today at Olympic Cards in comics.

I went 4-1, which ended up putting me at 2nd place. The top 4 was Crystal Bradford, Kenny Wisdom (myself), David Nelson, and Trevor S. in that order. Trevor had to drop to get to his Father's wedding, so Rose Sweet was bumped to the top 4.

I played David. He won the first game, and time was called in the second game, which I won due to prizes. The shop was closing, so the third (sudden death) game was played in the parking lot, haha. He won, and then we headed over to Shari's for the finals.

It was Crystal vs. David for the finals, and I was at a different table, but I believe she swept and took 1st, on her birthday! Also, David gave me his prize packs. :D

Thank you to all the people who came out and played, the OCC staff, all of our judges and PTOs, everyone who went to Shari's or watched us in the parking lot, and everyone else involved. Big ups to Crystal for winning, and a huge thanks to David for giving me his prizes (and not beating me too badly).

I hope everyone had as great of a time as I did!

Thanks Ken!

I had a great day, and a great weekend. 9-3 overall, and yes, Crystal swept me at Shari's. I drew one prize in the first game, and 4 in the second, but she was down to one left when time was called, and I don't think I could stop her from drawing the last one.

It was an awesome surprise to see Chris and June in the parking lot when we pulled in! Chris, it looks like you are about due for another haircut.

Fantastic Battle Road Season Everyone. Even though I do horrible at battle Roads I have a lot of fun at them.

Just curious as to who ran the Torment in Lacey today? I thought David N was but obviously he was not. Congrats to Crystal on winning on her Birthday weekend for the 2nd year in a row.

It really was a fantastic year of Pokémon in Washington again. I had a down year and only top cut 3 events but I had a blast playing. Looking foreword to Playing in my 1st ever Nationals. Just planning on playing a fun deck and trying to last the 8 rounds. Penny top cut once this year. And Sarah went 4-2 the final weekend. So we are pretty happy that she is starting to be competitive after just one year of playing.

Sorry we missed Chris and June. But we had a 3:30 softball game today, no way to do both. (Good news is that we scored 3 runs in the bottom half of the last inning to win the game 13-12 and that allowed us to make the playoffs.... in Pokémon terms our team Top Cut today)

For those of you who will not be going to Nationals we will see you at the next prerelease tournaments in August and I wish you all a fantastic summer.

@JandPDS - Niki N ran the tournament. :D

It was indeed a good year for BRs. I wasn't able to make it out to as many as I would've liked, but I had a fantastic time at the ones I did attend.

Have a fun and safe time at Nationals, everybody!

Congrats to Crystal for winning. Nationals for the master's would actually last 9 long rounds. The turnout last year was over 512 people, so it lasted 9 rounds until long past midnight.
