Stance ability of Espathra vs Cancelling Cologne / Midnight Fluttering

If my opponent used Cancelling Cologne or puts Flutter Mane in the active spot versus my Espathra with the activated "Stance" Ability protection, is it no longer protected?

In ptcgl, it doesn't cancel Stance. I was confident when I played Espathra irl, but two judges said that Cancelling Cologne cancels it.

Another instance was when my opponent set Flutter Mane in the active spot. My Espathra was still protected since I first evolved Espathra with Stance before she was faced by Flutter Mane.

Asking for explanations why Espathra is still protected in these two scenarios (if it's not a ptcgl bug) since I couldn't argue with two judges' decisions.

Thanks!

This is a case where the online game is correct.
Stance is activated when Espathra comes into play.
At that point, it is an effect on the Pokemon and no longer dependant on the Ability maintaining it.
