Starting a league

Hello everyone!
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread, I recently became a prof. and I'm currently in the process of starting a league in the Tampa,Fl area.
I've already got an awesome location that's super excited about getting one started, I was hoping I could have some tips as far as starting a new league.
Any bit of help would be great.

I just created a simliar thread. Have you applied and sent in the background check?
That is the step we are on. We sent in the background check in late February/early March. We still haven't been approved though. I explain it all on my thread. I will be interested to see how the proccess goes for others to see if we are the only ones having problems. Good Luck!

I sent in my background check April 5, but no response. I figured it might take a few weeks but still no official word. so far people have just been gathering and we play vgc/tcg and I've been teaching the came to parents and kids. but It'd be awesome to have a legit league.
