I asked this a while ago and haven't heard anything about it being resolved, so I will ask it again (the original topic can be found here).
The Strength Charm from TM/TA says that the damage is done after applying Weakness and Resistance. However, with the change in the EX rulebooks' "How Do You Figure Out the Damage?" section, damage effects on the Attacking Pokemon are now applied before Weakness and Resistance.
The contradiction between the two bothers me more than anything, so I'm not really sure if Strength Charm should follow its text as printed (as suggested by PokePop in the original topic) or if it should match up to the rulebook.
Any help on settling this issue would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
