Note// A lot happened Wed-Friday but i have no urge to type this all up tonight.. I may end up typing it later.
Saturday Morning I woke up around 7:00 grabbed a shower and headed downstairs to the cafe to get some breakfast. We ate and I went down to the convention center with my Swampert deck ready to go... There is a bit of a wait, and I chat with Martin,Pooka,Psycodad,Fulop,Drew,David,YJ,Foisy and so many others that I just cant remember. Soon the first round starts.
Round One vs. Gymbo with metabyss
Great, Poke Neo round 1. We both have terrible starts. He has a lone beldum and i have 2 mudkip. He begins drawing into draw power but just cant get energy. I get an excessive amount of energy and then finally Draw a delcatty. Once i got the delcatty he has a metagross and does some damage problem is it has no metal. I get a Suicune ex down and OHKO the Metagross which screws him over. I finish everything off with a Swamp ex mainly.
Round 2 vs. Chris Bianchi(Krayzie)
I couldnt believe I got Neo two rounds in a row. Hes playing Shiftry, Im playing Swampert, i dont think I really need to say much as Shiftry is soooo weak to swampert ex.

Round 3 vs. Jerry Dominguez(Gardy)
He gets stuck with 2 lone energy catch skittys. I have a lone Suicune ex. He draws like nothing and I beat his two skittys with Suicune Turn 4.

Lunch break.. Happens, I grab some food with spookees, Martin and my brother.
Round 4 vs. Pooka(Walrein)
AGAIN another person from Neo. By this point im so sick of it but I know we have to play. We start he goes first and Paralyzes my Dunsparce with Spheal. I drop a skitty and pass. He goes attaches Water, Candies to Walrein and says I will go for it and gets the Water with Crush draw to kill me. This completely screws me over as i have to give up 3 prizes to SARS. Eventually I just lose.

Round 5 vs. Colin Moll(Wailord ex/Bellossom)
I seriously couldnt believe this... Neo again..This game really effected my day. We start and he gets a couple prizes up and Then i begin to notice if I kill the fossils I can OHKO Wailord ex with Magneton. I do this and get up 3 prizes to 4 with about 20 seconds left in the round. He passes and I know that I can stall him out for the win, but i know Colin, Ive known him for a while and i knew that It was gonna make me look like a complete Jerk if i sat there for 20 seconds doing nothing. At this point I say to Colin "Im not gonna cheat you out" I bring up my Suicune ex and deal 80 to his Wailord with 10-15 seconds left in the round. I figure at this point it was the smartest move to make, I didnt want to look like a jerk and the spirit of the game thing was PLEDGED all day. Colin Goes and drops a Switch bringing up his Vileplume and drops the ATM Rock knocking out my Swampert and Swampert ex to beat me for the game...

After this game Im completely crushed. I knew I could have just won the game. Colin Shakes my hand and is just like thanks dude, you defintley deserve the sportsmanship award. I go and tell Psycodad and others what happened and they are like DUDE?? why would you do that, seriously its the world Championships and I was just like damn, im to nice of a guy to do that=(
Round 6 vs. This cool guy with Swampert
I got out to a fast start, and Did 50 to his Swamp ex, with my Swamp ex with 5 energy waiting. He couldnt draw anything then he scooped

By this point I figure that I could make T32 with a win. Pairings go up and I go to my next match.
Round 7 vs. Alexis Diaz(Blaze)
Im super confident going into the match and Start with a great hand. I get Delcatty and Swampert ex against his Torchic but thenthings just go down hill. My deck just STOPS drawing energy. My swamp ex is stuck doing 20 per turn, I cant draw Magneton, NOTHING is coming at all. He eventually gets a Bex up and just starts ripping through everything. I go on to lose this game and my chance at T32
Final Record 4-3
I sit around and Wait to see if I possibly got in, turns out I dont and I sit around ****** off for not stalling Colin out. Then the final sportsmanship award is announced, and It goes to Mike Pramawat who went 1-6 on the day..
At this time I would just like to say something about that Sportsmanship Award. It seemed to me instead of going to the most Sportsmanship players over those two days It went to the players finishing last or close to last in their respected age division. Everyone Pledged Spirit of the Game the whole day, and even tho I know i sound like a bad sport at this point for complaining about this, i really didnt think it was right...
Day 2 I played in a prerelease and hung out with Martin and the other guys, watched Fulop do some mizing in T16. I did have a great time tho..

Hands down you should have won that award, because at EVERY tournament you're usually the nicest guy out there. I'm sure I'll see you again somewhere. At least you didn't get... you know. ;x
