Not to get off topic to far:

I kill the Garchomp C before they can lvl up. with guard claw. (2-2 Palkia Restructure) (+ with guard claw / expert belt they still cant 1 shot without a 'bat. and thats alot to get when you get Judged every turn)
 
Sorry, Mikey :( I think you would've gone deep, but I think Dialga is a bad matchup for GG, especially with the Drifblim. I don't think people realize how incredible T16 in a 800+ player field really is. It's disheartening to not even get an invite for that.
 
Mikey, you were on such a run your last 2 nats. The deck was indeed great. It was really lame that you played the one player with an equally insane run in Kyle. Anyone else you would've taken down, you were just rolling after you squeak into the cut each year. ;p

How did I miss this report?!!? Congrats on the great run Mikey!! I was going to loan MK the Uxie LVX which Edwin was holding on to but he was no where to be found (typical lol) I heard a lot of ppl had their flights delayed (including mine lol)
 
there is absolutely no way anyone can say that an 800+ event is easy, the stress and mental burnout will get you alone. in the end its just whoevers brain is still functioning right that has better chance of winning. mikey's situation was that he played angainst one of the best (pooka) and had a bad matchup on top of that, do the math and it doesnt favor mikey. making top 16 is amazing in this tourny and mikey has always been a consistant player all through the years and im sure he will continue to perform, no doubt about that.
