No you don't. You need to do consistant damage. It doesn't matter if you have DRE's - I don't. I have a few Multi in case I need to do a silly attack with either Lunatone, or Solrock, but for the most part, all you need is Psy. If you attack with Banette and do 70 or 80 first chance you get, most times you can power up either a Shuppet or a second Banette before you need it again. Then the old one is in the discard, giving you your next 80 - or 70 or whatever you need to KO your opponent's next pokemon. If you need to stall for a turn, send up a Lunatone, or Minun. No problem. Sooner or later they're gonna run out of steam.

The deck is running Boundary as it should, I definitely think at least 2 DRE's is a smart idea.

I'm just starting the tcg after not being a part of it for a year, is this a good deck to use in masters at regionals?

Hi

I have had Emma playing your version of the deck against Paige's deck and paige has figured out how to beat it. So I have played it a few times against paige and she can win 60% of time. She really only gets caught on a bad start but she can usually come back. I will send you Paiges list in a PM.

it depends, is there a lot of Gardevoir/Gallade decks in your area?
if there is, then it should be a great play
but if theres a lot of Magmortar around, then it probably wont be a safe play

i usew this deck:

4-4 banette
4 solrock
4 lunatone
2 porygon2
2 porygon

4 double rainbow energy
12 psychic energy

4 bebe's search
4 TVR
2 night maintence
2 mentor
4 roseannes research
4 plus power
1 lake boundary
1 scoot

this deck is very quickly he beat in G&G i use 4 solrock and 4 lunatone why i prefer to discard many banettes!

why play Bebes?
you dont play Claydol or any EXs

also, imo, you should be playing AT LEAST 2 lake boundary...
and you should also consider putting in some Crystal Beach

can i ask, how many T2 Banettes do you get out?
This is a T2 Banette thread remember!!!
So its focused on gettin out a T2 Banette!!!
Your list is good, but T2?
Most, almost all T2 decks ususally play cess or beach or both to avoid losing the late game battle.
So imo, you HAVE to play them both since there are a lot of stadium play still going around and Pachi of course is one of the most used cards in the format.

The reason I play Claydol in here is b/c it makes getting a Banette in the discard so much easier since you're drawing so much, and getting a baltoy start doesnt hurt my chances at a T2 all that much, since I play 3 Warp Point.
I agree on putting a TSD, I realized that late game once you get 3+ Shuppet in the discard pile your screwed since nothing else in the deck can do any real damage. So I will play 1 TSD

but I will try playing your list of Pokemon and see how it goes

Charm doesnt help the same as +power, plus power can stack, which is big in this kind of deck imo. and people keep telling me to play Roseannes - why? Mentor lets me discard a Banette if I need to, and with this build it gets me set-up faster - grabbing a lunatone/baltoy/solrock or another Suppet. imo in this deck, rosannes has nothing on mentor

Yea PP stacks, but Charm + PP is always a boost. why use 3 PPs to OHKO a Magmortar, then not be able to do it again??? It only helps not hurt. Roseanne so you can get a nrg OR a poke. Lunatone/TVR discards Banettes quite well. If your build is right, you will get setup quick anyway.Think about it

Part of the reason this build works well is BECAUSE of Holon Mentor
I really have had no problem with energy, so playing Roseannes in this has nothing on Mentor

If you play DRE you need to run 3 or more plus powers to consistently get the 110 on Gardevoir.

I don't think DRE is needed if you just use ghost head efficiently and don't get donked.
