Hi I was wondering about a ruling about team magma’s and team aqua’s pokemon and wether or not they are able to evolve into non team magma’s or aqua’s Pokemon. For example being if I evolved a team aqua’s poochyena into a mightyena from another set like the one from astral radiance. I’m very curious about this so if someone could please let me know that would be great, I tried to look it up on the website but I couldn’t find anything.

The Evolution Pokémon state who they Evolve from. Mightyena Evolves from Poochyena, not Team Aqua's Poochyena. Team Aqua/Magma can only Evolve into a Team Aqua/Magma Pokémon. Same with Pokémon with an owner's name in them - Team Rocket's, Lt. Surge's, Sabrina's, Brock's, Misty's, etc.
