Yay I made top cut in masters!
And my winning packs had both Lv.X of Shaymin in them.

After a few more of those beverages, I probably would have eaten the raw chicken.
Once again, the best part of the event was not the event (which was perfectly run and judged in my opinion) but getting to see out of town friends, and just being to enjoy both their comraderie and their hospitality.
My 15 year old and 13 year old agreed...BEST POKEMON TRIP EVER.
That is saying a lot.

Yeah I know that, I just saying these people act like, "OMG CLAY BAUGHT US PIZZAAAAAAA!!"
I swear they'd be disappointed if he took us to outback steakhouse. I for one, would not. :wink:
Please not: I'm not complaining about it, Clay's the best for buying us food, running our events, loaning us cards and everything else he does. I'm just saying you guys like pizza WAY to much.

Let him talk. We had some of the most legitimate competition in the country present at that event with multiple people who placed highly at nats/worlds.
Also, I'd like to thank Lawman/Professor Clay/Heidi/Gumbydangit/ ect. for making this a weekend to remember. Can't wait for next years!

Had a great time this weekend. I also think I made out ok on my first high level judging position. At least, noone complained directly to me :thumb:
Overall, it was a great weekend with little or no hiccups. I actually would have posted sooner but I just woke up from the haze caused by an extremely busy and late night staying up bunch of rowdy kids at my house. I want to thank my wife and daughter for making themselves absent by staying at my mom's house and letting the out of town invasion take over. We had 17 in the house Friday night and 14 on Saturday night. The only difficult part was stretching out the showers so that everyone had hot water. Everyone who stayed there was great and you all are welcome back.
I am also once again proud of my Nashville crew. We had no champs but we had plenty of top cuts. Special Kudos to AMT's dad Matt for an excellent tournament. He is now an honorary member of Team Awesome.
My 6 year old daughter was crying crocodile tears when she learned she didn't make top cut at 3-2. I take that as a good sign as it means she's got that competitive spirit. Watch out over the next few years for her.
See you all soon in St. Louis. If not for states, then for regionals.

He thinks he knows everything because of what decks won. That is kind of arrogant.

Carlos was going around saying "I lost to him Jay-ran Zakura" like it was a cures or poison.
Most of the masters say "I suck" or see me as not really a threat.

He said we all suck, he didn't name names, he just said, "Man, that's it! I could give you a deck you could win with almost every time... if you'd actualy go to an advent..."
That was months after telling me that Tn Seniors sucks because Sam and Taylor always win around here (Memphis). He says, "They're just the one or 2 people above all the rest and that's why they always take down the events."
I told him about how Taylor won with that EmpoKing deck and he's like, "Whoa, that's not even a deck. If she won a REGIONALS with that then you all suck."
He's let me know more than once that we aren't that great.
