The Mega raffle will have a prize with a higher value (such as a box of cards). Players will choose which raffle to enter by placing their raffle ticket(s) inside the bucket for that raffle.

Additional info: A VIP package will be available at each tournament. It is meant to give you something by which to remember the tournament and your experience. The Texas Marathon VIP package is $5 and includes one booster pack and one commemorative Texas Marathon die. You may purchase one VIP package for each tournament in which you are entered. On the last day, if there are dice left over you may purchase additional dice for $3 each or 2 for $5. You may purchase VIP packages during pre-registration or at each tournament.

The Video Game Premier Challenge Tournaments on 27 December and 31 December will be played using Pokémon X or Pokémon Y. The cost is $5 each (paid during pre-reg or at the event) Prizing will be determined based on number of participants in each division and will include gift cards to Steam, eShop, Game Stop and Best Buy.

The Video Game Premier Challenge Tournament on 1 January 2015 will be played using Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. The cost is $10 (paid during pre-reg or at the event) – each participant receives one Texas Marathon commemorative die. Prizes again will be based on the number of participants in each division and will include gift cards, Pokémon Omega Ruby and/or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire DS games, iPod shuffle and a digital camera.

The Stage 1 TCG Tournament on 1 January 2015 requires participants to bring their own deck of 30 cards – XY on. Entry fee is $5.
All Stage 1’s are played as Basics. Maximum of 2 of any card except basic energy. No special energy cards allowed.

Registration for each tournament will begin at 9:30 AM – with a tournament start time of 10:00 AM. Note: You must be in line by 9:50 am to avoid a round one loss. A list of pre-registered players will be available at the venue each day. Pre-registered players simply need to check the list and verify their name is on the list.

There will be a short (30 minute) lunch break scheduled each day after round 3. Many of the venues will have some sort of lunch deal for players or you can bring your own or get something from a source nearby. Please plan accordingly.
