His Decklist read "The Ace" in his name. I paged him to the stage.

When he arrived, with a badge that read "The Ace" I simply asked, "Is your real first name 'The'?"

He said 'no' and I told him, "you may not register for this tournament under a fake name. Fix your decklist, or, you'll be leaving."

lololol the ace rocks... what was his record?
 
I guess I should have expected that, but it's a shame that the tournament staff had issues with this guy. A lot of us were able to find humor in his craziness, but it's not something you want to deal with when you are managing a 900+ person event. :nonono:
 
I didn't realize it until I saw that video of him, but that guy came over to me while I was shuffling my deck between rounds. I was wearing this shirt: http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/Absoltrainer/natashirt.jpg

He asked what it was, and I told him it was the Team M Pokemon Team shirt and that Metagross was our logo. He gets really mad and goes:
"YOU MUST BE A NEWB THEN! Everyone knows metagross has and "X" on it, NOT AN "M". M IS FOR MAGIC!!"

Then he walked off mumbling to himself. It was rather weird, but pretty funny.
 
He approached me and jokerboy at like 5 am in the convention center asking for metapods/butterfrees and like refused to leave lol.
