Did anyone notice that......

Artic/uno 1 in spanish

Zap/dos 2 in spanish

and

Mol/tres 3 in spanish

I noticed this and now discuss

Yeah, I noticed that a couple years ago. I thought it was cool too. A lot of Pokemon names have little hidden stuff/meaning in their name to help you associate them.

Yeah, knew that one too (forgot about it though lol).

There is a small rodent called a pika in real life.... and Pikachu resembles it... hmmm.

Ahh, well I didn't figure the Ekans and Arbok ones out myself, I just read them somewhere. You must be pretty observant.

All Pokemon have name origins (No exceptions), but some are easier to figure out than others.
Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres and Ekans/Arbok are some of the easier ones, if you ask me...
Gardevoir, for example, is one that most people would have to look up.

And what does it mean? Groudon, if you take away the 2nd "o" and then switch the "d" with the "n", you get ground, voltorb = volt orb, and many others I have found out, but don't feel like posting.

Whats Garde derived from? If it's above PG I'd rather you PM me.
