  1. Pokemon:23
    4 Mawile(GE)(Debating)
    4 Piplup
    3 Prinplup
    4 Empoleon
    2 Zubat
    1 Golbat(Debating)
    2 Crobat(SW?)
    2 Unown G

    Trainers:22
    3 Castaway
    3 Mentor
    3 POV
    2 Stevens
    4 Rare Candy
    3 Ceilos
    2 Leftover
    2 CC

    15 Energy:
    7 Water
    4 Psychic
    4 Scramble
    The Cards

    Empoleon
The main attacker. The ability to do 3 for 70 and possible 20 is O.M.G. good. It has easily the best lower stages out of any other pokemon, which makes it OK to not be able to get that Empoleon out. It's first attack, 2 for 40 to anything, just finishes off the fact that this card is just so good. Being water doesnt hurt either ;)

    Mawlie
This card just screams Gallade tech while also being a semi-decent starter. That anti-Gallade is the fact that it can flip over your opponents prizes, rendering Sonic Blade almost useless. But, being able to use the effect of any supporter found, definatly doesnt hurt. Now, I'm not saying that this is the best starter ever, or even for this deck. But in a metegame packed full of GG, it might be just what the doctor ordered!

    Crobat
While looking for a card, that was perferably psychic(didnt have to be) could beat most of the feild, and had some sort of synergy with Empoleon, Crobat answered my prayers. I tried MANY MANY MANY things, but this is easily the best. 2 for 50 TO ABSOLUTLY ANYTHING ON THE FIELD is another O.M.G. attack. Its Power helps alot too though. Being able to Poison the defending pokemon for 2 counter instead of one is amazing. I can OHKO a Gallade if it has just ONE damage counter on it(with Lake Boundry out). And yes, the only thing making this card so overlooked is the Flip. But if you have a better suggestion, go ahead. Suggest it. I'll test it. Unless I already have.

    Unown G
This is, in my own opinion, the best card in GE. Its WP+Basic Water that is Mentor/Roseanne's(able). It DOESNT get discarded by Pachi(which I expect to get played) and the only downside is that it takes the place of your only tool on a pokemon. ****, even its attack is good! 2 for 50? Wow!

    Pokemon Overview
I really do believe that this is the best Pokemon Line for this deck. I dont believe that there is ANYTHING better than Crobat for the purposes of this deck. The only thing that I'm debating is the Golbat, and the Mawile. So far they're the play. But I've only tested 10 Games, so i may be wrong!

    Trainer Overview
I'm rather shaky about my trainer line. So far it seems ok, but I really dont know. I feel like somthings missing. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

    The Strategy
I want to start with Mawile. Mawile allows me to flip prizes and use Supporters that I find, This is semi-decent, but its a good starting place. It also boosts my GG Match-up. I want to get Empoleon up as fast as possible, though a Prinplup start early doesnt hurt. The faster I get it, the better I'll do obv. Empoleon ***** Magmortar alive(Which you really cant disagree on) and Crobat is here to help improve GG Match-up, and also it ended out improving all match-ups.

But it loses to Magmortar. I like the Mawile, but I am not sure wasting 6 turns at start of the game flipping prizes is the greatest thing. I mean it will help, but how much? It isnt great against Magmortar which is gonna be big. I am not sure what the so called "play" is as the format is kinda wierder than it has been in the past.

As for the list, I think you would be better off with playing some scramble's and using Mismagius instead of Crobat.

  5. Crobat is a almost broken card. If you dont realize, you either A) Dont know what it does. or B) Dont understand potential. 2 for 50 to ANYTHING is absolutely sick. Add on the Poison(even though it's once) and i can be deadly. Its a tech/back up. Nothing more.

    Drew,
Its not realy wasting any turns. I do get the effect of any supporters, plus I dont need to do it for 60 turns. 3 will increase my matchup by 5 Points at least.

And yes, the reason its overlooked is because of the flip.

Crobat a almost broken card. looooooooooooool.

    drop bebe for celio ;/

I also think Scramble is sorta good with Empoleon since your using Mawile to start.

and DREs bad with any damage spread.

Do all that, and then here's a little more:

-Drop all those lake boundary. You're doing damage spread AND poison. You should be able to OHKO the opponent if you hit their weakness WITHOUT doing double damage.

Crobat does 50+30+20 to Gallade/Gardy, marking them with at least 100 damage. If that isn't an OHKO when you're playing empo then ~_~ Either way they'll die without a retreat and you're resistant to Gallade, and Gardy needs a plus power to KO you.

Empoleon does 70+30 to magmortar. Again, if 100 to a 110 pokemon isn't enough to OHKO them when you're playing damage spread then =\ Mag lvl x is double weak, so yeah.

Drop all those bad gyms, and add in BF or something useful. Drop the scotts down a bit, and if you're playing empoleon you should try using leftovers/charm/amulet coin. 130 is nothing to scoff at. You should be active for at least 2 turns normally, and a leftovers will heal 40 damage over those 2 turns, which can be amazing. It can sometimes lend you that extra turn or two, or at least force the opponent to go the extra mile. Amulet Coin is just sick. Charm is self-explanitory. What about cessation? I know you'll say "crobat!" but I say just time it well =X Crobat is a coming-into-play power anyhow. Having 2 cessation won't hurt. Especially if you're using a gym like BF over LB because it forces the opponent to windstorm additional things.

^ Too bad Leftovers only removes damage when you end your turn. :(

Jesus, it's only after your turn? That's STUPID! I was just remembering the translations which said in between turns, meaning both players.

Well, amulet coin and leftovers are less than half as good as I thought they were =(

Those translations are incorrect, then. The English version of the card says the same as the Japanese one - at the end of your turn.

The spoilers are correct. Ryan simply misunderstood :O

  15. Did I ever say it WAS broken? Nope. Sure didnt. I said it was NEAR broken. Thats the only bad side effect. Which isnt absolutly terrible. Its all about strategy and knowing when to do what. And btw, you act like Prinplup is a bad card...

^Sorry for making it seeem that way. I guess you could strategize with crobat, so its not a bad play. When i said prinplup I mean like after you attack, you get shuffled back into the deck then prinplups your only pokemon left and it dies.

looks very cool, have you tried mismagius and octillery instead of crobat. any way , crobat needs something to stall for its down time , like mime or shukle. just an idea any way looks realy cool.
