I loled when I saw the $500k fine. I mean, these coaches make enough money to the point where they could probably shrug off $500k without a problem. THey should have made a more harsh ruling, especially for something like blatent cheating.
 
BeliCHEAT should have been suspended. As I said earlier, Wade Wilson, asst coach with the Cowboys *i beleive* was hit a 5 game susp and 1/3 loss of his salary for taking HGH. He is a severe diabetic who became impotent bc of the diabetes. The HGH helps him to be intimate with his WIFE. No advantage to the cowpokes! He has written a formal letter to complain to the commish. BeliCHEAT's fine is roughly 10 % of this yrs salary. A cheat that affects the game SHOULD receive a suspension!

Yea the whole belcheck thing is ridiculous. Like im not a fan of the pats because the colts are my team but like I always respected bill belcheck as a head coach. He always did things according to rules and reads and understands everything.

How can you be one of the smartest coaches of this decade and do this? He obviously new wat he was doing. Imo in his interviews how he makes everything short and breif, Its smart. He gives simple and short answers. Becuz the press can eat u up and make something you say thats good and turn it into something bad.

In his interviews he replied "Moving on to the chargers". He said it about 5/10 times. Hes ignoring the question. He knows he cheated. Everyone else knows. Now since this ive lost all respect for him as a head coach and hes a disgrace to the sport.
 
The local paper also mentioned something interesting regarding the punishment: Apparently, the Patriots have 2 first round picks, 1 second round pick, and 2 third round picks. So yeah, I still definately think they should have gotten a worse punishment.
 
I hate it how people say he didn't need to do it they're too good for that.

Perhaps they got good from the cheating???

I have never cared for Billy B and now he should be suspended for 4 games. If the NFL suspended an assistant coach 4 games for taking HGH, then Bill should be sat down too! Lose a few good draft picks too...like a 2 and a 5.

Somehow, I highly doubt that only one team out of however many there are is taking detailed notes about their opponents...
 
If it didnt HELP Bill BeliCHEAT and the Pats to do this....then why did they do it? It had to help....ergo, a penalty. I still dont think it was enough IMO.

He made out like a FOX on this one. If a coach can be suspended for 5 games for using (NOT DISTRIBUTING) HGH, why does this guy only get a docked draft pick and half a mil fine? He also got the added bonus of giving his team something to fight for this season, cuz the Patriots play best when they perceive disrespect. How does Goodell come up with this kind of crap for this kind of cheating?!?
 
I beleive he only cheats against the Jets because of the rivalry he has towards them, bringing in former patriots and all...

Also, intresting that Brian Billick is accusing the Jets of cheating. For god sakes, If you're gonna tattle on someone for cheating, don't cheat yourself!

I'd also rather root for a cheating team like the Patriots over a big chokejob team like the Red Sox.
