Yay. Which Pokemon does the most damage?

WPM posted on his site Pokebeach...

2,320 Damage Poll
Boy have I been getting a lot of feedback and some interesting comments on this poll. Do you guys like polls that are that hard? Anyways, the answer was Omastar from Neo Discovery, not Magneton from EX Dragon (#35). I like to trick you guys, and since I know that some of you would be too lazy to look up the scan and would just assume that it was the other Magneton, that is what you would answer. So how can it do 2,320 damage, theoretically? Say you have a Mysterious Fossil, Omanyte, and an Omastar in your deck. The rest of the cards are Water energy, which would mean 57 of them. Thus, if you flipped heads 57 times, with the added 20 damage from Omastar's attack, it would come out to 1,160 damage. Then, in the case that the Attacking Pokemon is weak to Fighting type Omastar, you would do x2 damage, coming out to 2,320. Yeah, not really possible, but it's fun to think about what Pokemon can do the most damage.

ROFL. Just 2320? I dunno it’s a mistake, error or what, I have my own answer:

(Make it unlimited since WPM also did this)
2 Exeggcute
1 Exeggutor
4 Scramble
4 DRE
4 DCE
1 Boost
44 Psy

If I flip all heads
4 Scramble – 480
4 DRE – 280
4 DCE – 320
1 Boost – 120
44 Psy – 1760

Total: It’s already 2960. OK guys, so is it the most damage that all Pokemons over the world can do? NO.

The maximum damage that a single Pokemon can do for a single attack is...it is...you think we need 1234567 energies again? NO. The maximum damage is...

No, it should be 900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 damages. By Rayquaza*. If we can flip coins for a century and get all heads I believe we can do much more damages...ROFL. Yay.
Who’d gonna observe which Pokemon can do the most damage anymore?! There may be much more answers.
Think about it, not using this way, which Pokemon can do the most damage?
Enjoy –

ummm, i cant be bothered to work anything out... but if you include unlimited... i rememeber working out that a successful cross counter from rockets hitmonchan (gym heroes) can do ALOT of damage ;)

The most damage without flipping (in the attack with Damage) is Rayquaza Ex [DR]!!!
You can do 2080 Damage with it!!! With Weakness that would be 4160, beat this!

Can't touch this! Dadada! Can't touch Ray!

Linoone from R/S can do more damage than Rayquaza* since Linoone's damage modifier is 40, where as Ray's is only 30.

You can only flip 56 times-you need one card left as a prize.

THIS WAS ON SERIBII FORUMS MONTHS AGO...

without "flip a coin until you get tails" attacks, of course. The card is FR/LG Exeggutor. Flip a coin for each energy on it, does 40 damage for each heads.

Now considering this be your decklist (no, this in anot a RMD)

Pokemon-4

1x Exeggcute
1x Exeggutor
1x Voltorb
1x Electrode EX

Energy-56

4x Boost
4x Scramble
4x DRE
44x Psychic

EEB Electrode EX, getting 4 Boost Energies and any others. You'd then have 4 activated scrambles attached, and 4 dres, along with all 44 psychic energies, making a total of 76 coins to flip, with the end result being -40, and against a psychic weak Pokemon.

76
x40
-----
00
304
------
3040
- 40
------
3000
x 2
------
6000

As far as I see, the highest possible damage in modified play in Pokemon is 6000. I could go unlimited and use DCEs and other junk, but that's a bit extensive.

I'm not sure how you got THAT number.
1 Ray
1 Multi
4 Plus Power
1 Strength Charm
(five cards in your hand will never be playable: Go first, Draw seven, Play Ray, Attach one per turn until you draw your last card, so to maximize damage, 4 plus power and a Strength charm are needed)
53 Fire

60 Cards in deck
-1 Rayquaza
-6 Prizes (Rayquaza can't take a prize without nuking all energy attached)
-5 cards in hand (Plus Power, Strength Charm)
=48 Useable energy to discard

48x40+50=1970
Weakness=3940

I'm pretty sure I got that right, feel free to correct me if I didn't

Havven't we all been forgetting about Dark Charizard?

1xCharmander
1xDark Charmeleon
1xDark Charizard
57xFire Energy

If all heads(and no, this ISN'T a "flip a coin till you get tails" attack), DC's attack would do 2850 damage. NOT including weakness.

Of course, if it was Mew EX with 59 energies on it and a DC on the opponent's side, it would do a max of 2950 performing DC's attack...

charking and others, you forget at least one card must be prized...
Well I'm gonna hafta say 2800 with Dark Charizard(assuming Charmander/Dark Charmeleon would get 5 prizes), or 2900 with Mew EX doing Dark Charizard's attack, assuming that it got 5 prizes by itself with other attacks.

Taking a prize doesn't actually help, it just adds to the number of cards you can't use in your hand.

[Edit] Revised D. Charizard-
1 Chamander
1 D. Charmeleon
1 D. Charizard
1 Admin
56 Fire

Take 5 prizes with Nail flick or what have you.
All but two energy should be usable thanks to admin. So Lets ditch one energy in favor of Charm

1 Chamander
1 D. Charmeleon
1 D. Charizard
1 Admin
1 Charm
55 Fire

Assuming 1 fire is prized you should be able to use your entire hand thanks to admin. Just don't play the Charm first. ;p

54x50+10=2710
or 5420 with weakness.

If 57/59 energies in your deck, then that means -1 prize=+1 energy for the attack. Dark Charizard's attack does 50x the number of heads you get per energy. Yes, it does matter.

I think rokman is right, except it's only 5920 damage because 1 prize gots to be prized. (talking about modified)
He added weakness. If you want me to, I can.
Dark Charizard: 2800x2=6600(fire Weakness)
Mex EX with Dark Charizard's attack: 2900x2=6800(psychic weakness)
