Is the amount of time left in the round public knowledge the same way as other things like number of cards in deck or what is in a discarf pile &/$//()*Aaron 1

Moving to Judge's Chambers from Ask the Rules Team since different TOs/HJs handle this differently.
Short answer is, no, it is not public knowledge.

However, how much players are informed about the time remaining will vary from event to event.
Some will post a clock.
Some will give a specific answer to the question of time remaining.
Some will give a range such as "less than 15 minutes remaining.
Some will not give time at all.
Players are expected to make their moves in a timely manner regardless of how much time remains.

Just to add on. The rules do not dictate how time should be handled. There is no correct, "this is how it is to be done" way. How time is handled is upto the tournament staff. As long as it is consistent and as long as all players get the same info when asked/announced, there are no issues.
