So I end up playing Durant again since I still can't afford Mewtwo EX. I only remembered 1 name...sorry!!! I played a lot of people from North Carolina so I didn't know them.

Game 1 – Eelektrik
He went first, attached to active Thundurus and charged. On my first turn I whiff on my 4 pokegear and 4 collector, attach special metal and eviolite, and devour for 1 (which was a plus power). Turn 2, he had 2 junk arms and an energy for the donk. We play again for fun and I beat him pretty easily...bummer.
0-1

Game 2 – ZPST
Pretty fast game - All of my devours had atleast 1-2 energy so it he couldn’t get much going. I think he got 50 damage on my field the entire game and took 0 prizes.
1-1

Game 3 – Eelektrik
Got my turn 1 devour for 4 and beat him easily. Lost Remover and crushing hammer set him back 1 or 2 turns. He took 1, maybe 2 prizes.
2-1

Game 5 – Durant Mirror
He went first but only got 2 Durant out but no energy. I devoured for 4 about 5 or 6 times before he got started. Everytime he tried catcher/crushing hammer I always had an energy in my hand. Again, most of my devours included 1-2 energy. The only supporter I used was my turn 1 collector…pretty easy match.
3-1

Game 5 – CMT (Curran Hill)
Long game. I had a Durant prized (it was the 6th one I took) and was having trouble getting 1 of my 4 pokegear and 4 collectors again so I had to devour for 2 or 3 the first 6 turns. I was able to slow him down a little bit w/ crushing hammer/lost remover. It ended up being a really close game with him having about 5 cards left when he took his 6th prize.
3-2

Game 6 – Vileplume
I started w/ Rotom and couldn’t devour any Vileplume/Rare Candies. He had Beartic and Terrakion. His Cubchoo kept putting Rotom to sleep so I couldn’t use its ability. I rolled A LOT of tails during this match on crushing hammer and sleep. It was pretty quick. We played again for fun. I started w/ Rotom again but I beat him...bummer again.
3-3

Game 7 – CMT
He used 1 of his Juniper and 2 Junipers from my hand off of Portrait during the game…um...yeah.
4-3

Game 8 – CMT
Most stressful game of the day. I started w/ Rotom, which stunk. It came down to his last turn and he had 1 prize + 4 cards in his deck. My active Durant had 1 eviolite and 1 special metal so he needed a catcher/junk arm/pluspower or something. His last turn lasted about 5-6 minutes before he finally conceded.
5-3

The standings go up and 5 5-3s made top 32 I believe. My resistance wasn't good so I get top 64 and finally get a championship point in my 1st season playing.

Here's my llist:
5 Pokemon
4 Durant
1 Rotom

44 T/S/S
4 Collector
4 PONT
4 Twins
3 N
2 Juniper
4 Revive
4 Junk Arm
4 Crushing Hammer
3 Lost Remover
3 Catcher
3 Eviolite
4 Pokegear 3.0
1 Super Rod
1 Black Belt

11 Energy
4 Special Metal Energy
5 Metal Energy
2 Prism

In the end I never once used Super Rod or Black Belt...if those were 2 Level Ball it would have helped in the matches where I whiffed on my 4 pokegear/collector (I remember starting w/ Black Belt or Super Rod a few times). Oh well....probably time to retire the deck.
