One thing I don't like is unsanctionable 2-vs-2, which is implemented in the card wording though...
Nice addition for 30 card and team, but again, no sanctioned tournaments :S

Team play? When was the last time that was tested?

It looks very similar to what I made up for league at the strong demand of a team play. But this one looks like it still has a lot of rough edges. I'll avoid technical stuff at the moment and focus on what the document says, or doesn't say.

that player draws a Basic Pokémon, he or she must play it in the
Active position on the first available opportunity.

The hand's contents are not open knowledge. How do you know the player has a Basic Pokemon? This requirement cannot be enforced until someone either peaks into the player's hand or an effect reveals the player's hand.

Only the player whose turn it is may initiate conversation with his or her teammate.
So, the 3 other players are to remain quiet? And the opposing team is to remain quiet when it isn't a team member's turn? That really doesn't work, makes the game a kind of quiet alternative to a normal tcg game. Even in 1-1, the opponent is still allowed to talk.

The ability to play trainers and powers on the partner is no longer there. I'll miss that.
