UK 2008 - Event Timeline March to May

North West Regionals THIS SATURDAY!

Sorry about the ludicrously short notice - I thought these had been signed off on, sanctioned and promoted months ago, but it seems I was mistaken.

I arranged this event back in January, and confirmed it with the UK office on February 25th yet it appears that nobody other than myself knows about it.

Unfortunately it now clashes with at least one other event in the North, for which I apologise. But since its been on the Fan Boy Three calendar for several months, has been promoted in the March and April e-mailers to our two thousand members I'm not sure there's a lot I can do about it at this exact moment.

(Plus - this forum keeps eating my posts... lets see if this fares any better!)

Other Fan Boy Three dates that may - or may not - exist in our space time continuum are:

May 10th - Majestic Dawn PR

May 17th - Road 2 the Nationals £3 tournament

May 24th - Battle Road Manchester

Like may stores and TO's I got no e-mail about Battle Roads this time around, so that last one is a bit tentative.

Sorry this missed the timeline thread but I took all the dates from posts here and from trolling the official site for Sanctioned Events. Because the Manchester STP/Regionals has not yet been sanctioned it didn't make the list.

I don't know when the Battle Road went up but I have been out for the last two weeks so haven't been double checking the tournament listings for strays..

Hopefully now your posts are getting through we won't miss a FB3 event again :smile:

Suggest you contact them and find out what is happening? Like many new leagues they will welcome players and support so give them a call :d

Leeds is fairly near Leicester. We have plenty Darkrais and Cresselias.

Depends on attendance but I would expect to be all wrapped up and top 8 done by 6 -7pm.

Ben unless you start at some ungodly hour a T16 can't be expected to finish by 6pm. T16 is 4 hours without deck checks. T16 needs 5/6 swiss rounds which is 4-5 hours of play.
