Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK Battle Roads - Now with Dates!

Whoever gave Chimera Games a State really needs to re-evaluate the whole concept off actually running such a high level event with the maximum attendance at 80. That's roughly 23 people in each group, given and take one. In 10 years off playing this TCG competitively and at all levels. I find that rather ridiculous, I've never ever seen a London event with a cap off period and we are talking about multiple and numerous state and regional championships respectively.

^ Sounds like someone forgot to put their name down :/

Good luck to everyone attending this event (not me unfortunately lol)

The UK doesn't even have Regionals usually, just States.

I'm not sure if the Nottingham tourney is an early Regional or an early State or if that even makes any difference outside of NA.

I do know we are getting more big tourneys than we did last year, so don't worry about that.

It is a State championship, so i am told. Whereas last year the window for States was very small (3 or 4 weekends in March) the window offered this year is much larger, starting in November. Nottingham have just decided to run their State Championship early.

My understanding in this (and i could be wrong) is that is the equivalent event to the one they ran in March 2011. I.e. it's a State championship, just early.

When you look at how well the events are run and the numbers they attract for every event, it becomes really, really obvious why they were offered a State Championship.
