Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ursaring Prime - Under estamated?

Omg, it hit 6 pages, LET IT DIE PLEASE. But so i don't get banned, i think this deck is just not good in this format.

Omg, you hate this thread and your still posting in it.... you keep coming back, somethigns must apeal to you ! maybe its ursarings playablity !:thumb:

I'm pretty sure blaming others for 'trash-talking' and then calling them names like these reduces any validity in your post. You beat a good kid on Pokebeach? Congrats, you should feel proud of yourself. Even if it is a good player (which would surprise me being from the 'Beach and all), beating one player doesn't make a deck good enough to make it through 7-8 people at a big tournament.

Being from the Beach = Bad? And you accuse others of trash talking, myup, way to go there.

Now Brock, why don't you react to the fact that you called a national champion bad while your crowning achievement is going 2-1 in a pre-states?

Well, not everyone from the Beach is bad, but you definitely get talked down to if you're not hyping a bad deck over there. I was simply calling him out on it, but you're probably right. Your second point is spot on, too.

crowning acheviment? only put that n my siggy to show i actually do play against other people competitively. now to say that its my best? you must be pretty dumb my friend to assume on a topic you know nothing about  sure he got lucky and made nats champ when his opponets got bad starts and he gobbled them up like a cookie monster... nom nom nom, great *appluse* :thumb: like i said before, when im up top, make sure you shake my hand for proving ya wrong :) not matter whats said im gonna leave it at that lol. joke on my pre-state, deal i could careless, its pre-states :thumb: just because i dont put all achivements means i only have 1? what do you know about my playing history? haha dont make a Ursaring thread into a personal thread. talk about my pre-states all you like. but gonan say it again.... Shake my hand when your going home and im in top.

Let me ask you something BB.

How good do you think Ursaring will do at Nationals in the USA and Worlds? Format won't change, so you might as well say now.

I'll happily quote what you have to say if I disagree (and maybe even some other people), and if it turns out that you where right then props to you. If not, then the quote can rot away in my sig until the point has been taken for a decent while. But until then, it's probably best we leave this thread before it turns itnto the 'Spam is not bacon thread' if it hasn't already. Seeing as you rated it 10/10 you must think it'll do pretty decent at Worlds and Nats.

Fair enough?

I dont even care if this is spam, I just dies laughing xDDD
Yeah, definitly, this wasnt due to playing a roque that actually works and preparing for the metagame, I just got luckyy

I bet he donked with Torterra or Flygon in all his matches.

Brock.. go back to pokebeach.. they miss you.
I had respect for you.. before this thread started.. now you are just another blind player.. I guess ursaring is this years Flygon/Hippowdon of the gym..

One game I nearly donked a lone Luxray, just didnt get a dce when I cosmiced for 6 :D

Haha, donking a Luxchomp with Torterra - never thought it would be possible.

I don't know Yoshi- personally but -

Their Masters division had about 120 Masters I think.

Torterra/Flygon is a deck involving at least 2, possibly 3 stage 2s. I'd bet you're not going to get many lucky starts or donks with that, instead relying on skill to win.

Torterra/Flygon is a complete rogue deck which he's developed and won with, beating Luxchomp which everyone believes is broken and never loses.

You have to say, thats pretty impressive.

o i deff agree, no hard feelings dude, honestly i am hoping to do well, i dont expect top, but i am gonig be be like the person across from me shooting for it ya know? but i do think it'll fair well. feel its a matter of speed. in my deck would be speed and healing. if it doesnt do aswell as i hope then, o well, theres always next year ya know? but i do think it'll fair well at Nats, Worlds? i dunno, if it does well at Nats i can see people working to be prepared for it. so worlds im gonna say 40/60 it'll do well if it does well at Nats. maybe 35/65. but yea is fair enough

@ Hatter - if you look at hwo lnog i been hear, compared to beach, u'd see why im here a whole lot more than beach... typically, the people hear are more open, and disscussions are more meaningful, not a bunch of ego crazy people who cant take the slightest bit of crit. without shooting your head off with a quad barrel shot gun... but you can not like for me my thoughts on Ursaring, playablity, thats fine. lol asfar as being blind? not at all, when your cant get past a single flaw of something to see the potental then your blind.

What do you mean by '40/60' and '35/65'?

the percent chance of it making the top cut at Worlds. :nonono: honestly feel if it does well at Nats it wont do as well at Worlds. people will work faster to get to their set up than the Ursaring player. is a reason i liek him so much, because T2 you can have Ursaring sitting with 1 damage and 2 energy, and rush the other person to make misplays. or blidn them with the holofoil lol , he's not hard to KO after he takes round 80 damage unless he's healed. or if you control who they bring up for your next KO. (which is why i have Dusknoir and Nidoqueen tech with poke healers and more)

kk and can't Jumpluff do that too but without all the hassle of getting a damage counter and a DCE? With the damage counter on it Ursaring has 10 more HP than Jumpluff. I'll just quote it now, and there's not much left to do now. . . But. . . Wait I guess. . . Sorry I gotta repeat that. . . On this thread. . . We just. . . Gotta. . . Wait. . . Ah I feel sooo much better lol

Best way to run Ursaring Prime I think is with Magnezone SF... at least then you can get the damage counter, and 3rd energy so that they can attack for the turn. Even still, it is difficult to setup, and likely pretty clunky. The deck relies on drawing into a DCE, which is not always possible. Uppers can help too I guess.

thought of the uppers, but then runnig those, would need a actual starter, which then tooo tohught of runnig Jirachi RR for his free attack, retreat and Final Wish.. so not only will Upper be a DCE, for the turn, but i'll get 1 card i need and speed up my searching abit too with his attack.... dunno stil ltesting afew things but sounded like it would work.

game against CurseGar today went rather funny... I go first, with a Teddiursa and Baltoy start, His start was Spiritomb active, Gastly and Baltoy.

Me : Attach DCE to Teddiursia and pass

Him : attached a Call to gastly, pulls searches for Claydol, and uses Darkness Grace for Haunter,

Me : Draw Profess Elm, attach Rainbow to Teddi, search for Claydol, Cosmic powered, then again pass

Him, attaches a 2nd energy, evolves to Claydol, searches out and drops mr.mime, 2nd baltoy, BTS to Claydol. double Cosmic power, then passes, (why he didnt pull gengar, im guessing he forgot)

Me : top deck Ursaring Prime, evolve, drop Cyclone Energy to bring up his Mime, then Hammer Armed for the KO
(im up 1 prize)

Him : pulls up Haunter, Evolves to Gengar and attached his 3rd energy (Curse Gengar) double cosmic power. and Shadow Skip for 80
(my Ursaring is at 10 HP left with no Ebelt, now, let me tell you, my hand... 1 Roseanne/1 Dark Palm/1Nidoqueen/1 R Candy and 2 Pokehealer+....)

Me : Draw and pull a psychic Energy, drop Roseanne for another Baltoy and Duskull, and Candy to Dusknoir, and laugh, he looks at my hand and super scoops his deck.
(his bench was, Dark Palm, Gengar, and 2 Claydol,) [my bench Claydol and Dark Palm with a active Ursaring that was about to be back to 100 hp]

i know not all games will go this way, but thought sum might find it interesting.

My guess is that at Worlds theres gonna be some crazy Japanese kid playing a Ursaring SD. I think that'd be funny. But seriously Brock? Your claiming your better than Yoshi? A Nats winner? What have YOU accomplished with more than 120 people? Hmm? You tell me?
