This is a GREAT choice. I have been to the Indianapolis CC more than once for Gencon. I know the area, so it makes booking a hotel very easy for me. :thumb:

St. Elmo's Steakhouse, here I come! Indy is a good choice. It has hosted many major events and have facilities set up for weekend activities also. A good centralized locale. Looking forward to it!

YES! Nice venue decision! I feel as though now this was well worth the wait!

I also approve of the ability to move swiss to Friday as well as Saturday. Great way to manage the time and such.

Indianapolis is a fantastic city with a lot to do, for sure. You guys won't be disappointed.

Awesome! Glad we finally have the info. Better late than never ;)

Indianapolis is a pretty favorable location for me, too. Been there a couple times, and I think it's a great location to hold US Nats at. Probably the closest place that I could hope for with it not being at Origins. We'll have to see how some things play out, but I'd love to be there.

If I had to guess, I would say that it would be on Thursday, if they are having it. Last year those of us who were still playing in the Prof. Cup were registered by the Staff because we were still playing in top cut.

On a side note, I already book my room for this.

OK, time to get my ROs in and book a hotel in the area.

Anybody know which hotels are (a) closest, (b) cheapest, and (c) contain a shuttle to the convention center?

3 day Nationals, huh? Good thing. 6 rounds on one day, 3 rounds on the second, and most of the top cut on the second as well. Nice to see them putting things together like this.

Oh yeah. When's the Professor Cup? Thursday? Sunday? I consider THAT to be my Nationals, and I'd like to have a when/where/format to practice with.

Crowne Plaza is pretty nice. It has free internet and it is only .16 miles from the Convention Center. :thumb:

Well, they're talking about doing half of the rounds on one day and half on the other. Anyone think that maybe they'll hold the Prof cup in the evening?
