Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Utah State Championships - March 8th

Great turn out, awesome tourney, tons of fun and of course always good to see some of the CO players again! Seriously 110 players is awesome, I didn't think we had it in us without at least 3 states supplementing it. It was great to see CO and ID make the trip though. Can't wait until regionals when we will get to see everybody. It's going to be a huge battle, as I feel we've drastically improved here in UT over the last two years and are going to make a huge run at the trophies this year. We will be bringing at least 2 vans full of players, and hopefully a few more! We could be there all day and all night also, as I bet we get close to 200 players.

Judging the Juniors division is always fun and I see myself in that role for an undisclosed ammount of time - a mixed blessing really. Anyhow, everything went smothly there. No hurt feelings. No major problems. It did seem as though the whole group developed butterfingers in the second and third rounds and couldn't hold on to their cards, but in all it was fun.

Really, Bret told me he was called on time in the last game. Oh well, it should've never gotten to the last game.

One of these days.... We'll get that coveted UT States trophy.
