I was just wondering if anyone knew a league in Utah with a healthy player base of 16+. I ask because I would like to go to one where there are people closer to my age. I know this is a kids game but I am just getting back into it and I know there are some older players that play. Thank you in advance.

We've got a couple if you're in the Salt Lake Valley - There's a league that meets in the Gateway Mall in downtown SLC on Fridays, a league that meets at Arby's in Sandy (13th & 104th) on Wednesdays, and another that meets at game Haven in West Jordan.

As far as 16+ goes, we generally have a lot of people in that range. Some of them are away for the summer, but we tend to have more Masters (by a long shot) than any other group. If you live up near Roy, though, they've got a LOT of Juniors. :)

You can use the league locator thing on the pokemon website to find leagues:

I am in Utah county. I used that and found the "closest league". Which I contacted and went to once. It was mainly younger kids and the format was unlimited. I am just getting back into the game and want to focus on the new format. So a unlimited format kind of put me off. I don't mind traveling to a league either. I am currently contemplating going to the league in Provo Utah, but I have yet to contact them.

Any suggestions or info will be appreciated I was mainly wondering about the 16+ ages so that I could make some friends close to my age. It is kind of hard to get back into this when I don't really have anyone that I know interested.

I go to Provo, it has a good group of people who are late teens/early 20s, although lately we haven't had a lot of people show up ever since summer got going (almost no one will be there this week due to Nats). If you ever try to go, be there around noon-ish. The Sandy league can be great too.

I'm pretty sure the league you mentioned was Payson, and it is a league that was basically formed for a group of younger kids in that area. I used to be the only Master there (pretty sure I met you), but I'm moving and won't be there anymore (or even at Provo, I'll be going to the Layton league). Basically every other league has plenty of Masters.

I looked at the Pokemon leagues again and Provo Utah is not listed. did they end their league? does anyone know what is going on. I was planning to attend this one.

The Provo league is at Dragon's Keep on Saturdays at 10AM. I know a lot of people are out at nationals right now or just gone for the summer term (I know I am) so you might have better luck next week.

Well i have waited roughly two weeks and it hasn't shown up on Pokemon.com leagues. So i am hesitant to just show up and then there is no league does anyone possibly know whats going on?

This league does not show up on the event locator for some reason, but I know it really does exsist.
Address is: Dragons Keep 260 N. University Ave Provo UT 84601.
Hope this helps.
