Okay this is taken directly from their site.

Mario Kart Wii - Friday 7PM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Single races chosen at judges discretion.

- 4 person races - top finisher move forward

- Last round - 4 races, one course chosen by each participant and will be scored on overall placement Grand Prix style

- Tiebreaker if necessary will be heads up on a course of the Judge's choosing.




Rock Band Idol - Friday 7:30PM

- Tournament is a CASUAL tournament, with 3 judges (Accuracy, Performance, Showmanship)

- Bands must be comprised of Vocals, Bass, Guitar, and Drums. No Incomplete Bands

- Bands will play a single song of their choice, Skill level must be at least Medium. Higher Skill level is encouraged

- Judges will award points on a scale of 1-5 for each band. Band with the highest average score wins.

- ALL Songs will be avaliable for play, current up to the day of the convention.

- Costumes, crazy (but SAFE) antics, and general rock star behaviour are allowed, as long as it is family-friendly.




Halo 3 Tournament Rules: Slayer - Friday 10PM

− No making custom names or colors. Take what is randomly generated, players are allowed to modify their controls before the game starts.
− Each round will last only 7 minutes. The top four will be judged on the number of kills achieved. In the event of a tie that makes for more than a top four. The better Kill\Death spread will advance, while the other(s) will be placed into a final “Hail Mary” round.
− 16 players, every man for himself(herself). The top 4 will advance to the next round.
− Map will be Guardian. Standard weapons for start and placement.
− In second round, 8 people only, top four advance.
− The top four continue to advance until there are only 4 left.
− The final map will be Epitaph, standard weapons.

Quickie rules for the 2008 Anime Mid-Atlantic DDR Tournament

Qualifiers will be held Friday night and Saturday morning.
You may sign up for only ONE qualifying round.
Scores will take into account Perfects, Greats, Almosts, Boos, and OK's.
(i.e. EVERYTHING COUNTS!)
Top 16 scorers + 4 alternates will be in the Tournament.

Single-Elimination Tournament – first 3 rounds will be DDR MAX US.
Best 2-of-3 match, scoring is based on Perfects, Greats, and OK's only.
You will choose your song and your opponent's difficulty and modifiers (up to 3 mods).
Little, Stealth, and Freeze-Off are not allowed.
Speed mods that increase the BPM over 400 are not allowed and,
if chosen, will default to the next lower mod.
Max300 is not allowed in Round 1.
Once a song is chosen, it may not be played again for the remainder of the tournament.
Tiebreak songs will be determined by ROULETTE and must use Shuffle modifier.
Players eliminated in Round 3 will receive consolation prizes.

Finals – Best 3-of-5 match, using a list of 7 songs that have edit steps.
Difficulty will be between 7 and 10, but no hint of difficulty will be offered to players.
Players may choose their own respective speed mods.
Scoring is based on Perfects, Greats, and OK's only.
The champion may have the opportunity to win another prize if he/she agrees to one more DDR task. It won't be easy!

Smash Bros. Brawl - Saturday 10PM

First round will be 4-player FFA elimination, 1st place in each game goes on to next round. If there are a lot of people, we'll put in a second 4-player elimination round.
The following rounds will be standard 1 v 1, double elimination.

Rules:
- No items
- No Smash Balls? (this will be voted on by attendees, y/n)
- No Wolf? (this will also be voted on)
- 3 Stock
- 7 minute time limit

What's AMA? and LOL no Wolf that's dumb, why not eliminate the whole 1st tier instead of just one of their characters. pshh
 
No Wolf? Rofl, they are so many worse things than Wolf, why would you ban his use?

Most battle rules use 4 stock and about 8 minutes or so to battle. No items generally, and smash ball being dependent on vote seems right.
 
You could totally add "Anime Mid-Atlantic" to the title since no one outside the mid-Atlantic area knows or cares about this (and consequently would have no idea what that initialism means).
