yah thats what ur supposed to say;;......when u pmed the people i know they havent responded yet but u told them 15 right?so what do u mean cant i tell everyone to have 15 bucks on them? u mean at league for next week? sure but tell me who before u tell them.

So when is this unsanctioned tourney going to be, for realz? Us bored Richmonders might want to make the drive. I have the Beemer SUV! Road trip!

Hey, I won't be around next Saturday, but if it's this weekend I'll happily volunteer to do pretty much anything. No offense, Stevie, but I'm not sure you can quickly and reliably calculate resistance and whatnot.
And, again, no offense, but people aren't going to think of a junior as being very reliable anyway. Heck, people still have trouble remembering that I'm an actual judge and not just some kid getting in the way.

BTW, if charchar doesn't run a tournament tomorrow I've been planning most of the week to run one. It'll probably be 30 card Unlimited format.

charchar, unless someone has taught you how to manually do swiss or you somehow got a copy of TOM, I don't know who you plan to do swiss style. That's the other reason I do double elimination :wink:

What sucks about judging is that you're only remembered for the bad calls, not the great catches or excellent rulings :/

In my defense, I was just made aware of this thread a few minutes ago. Yeah, this is one of those things that totoro is smart enough to avoid :lol: .

sealed deck = what is used at prerelease
booster draft = "pass the trash"
rochester = spite drafting

For scheduling:
This weekend is too soon, IMO.
Next Saturday starts the new league season, which is usually a bad time anything additional to be happening. I put a call into Hobby Works and reserved next Sunday, July 13th (all day) for you. Keep in mind that Hobby Works hours on Sunday are 12pm-5pm. If that's not fine, tell me and I'll get it changed. If you can plan the times, maybe we can even try the mutant draft I wanted to do. I suppose if you run over you could also play on the floor :redface:

Alternatively, you may want to consider Karate Experts.

Yeah Alazor, Hobby Works at league tomorrow. Anyway, since Steven won't be running his draft then, I'll run a 30 card tournament this Saturday. For certain.

sunday is when andriy is on vacation.... as long as people can come on sunday its fine with me. alright i guess il have to do double enlimation unless someone can organize swiss. il need a judge that means... i passed the test twice im sure! a few months ago...
 
Me and the girls are most likely in for the draft depending on when it happens. We rarely get to particiapte in the post-tourney drafts cause they're always so late. Anyway, we'll see y'all at league tomorrow.

I just PMed charchar with the possibility that it could be done on Sat June 12th instead of the next day. However, first talking must be done with the people who have the timeslot after league.

One of these days, we'll trick totoro into a pokemon event in his front lawn :biggrin: . Some pokemon, nice evening air, maybe the patty cake duo :lol:
 
I AGREED AS LONG AS I HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE! it will be most likely after league.... i think so. i was eating so sry if i took long. give me a souviner please.(il give u an extra pack:p)jk. i didnt mean to be mean. remember jimmy m and andriy. the ITEMS will be needed becuase the tournament wil most likely be done next saturday right after league or 30 mins before the league ending seeing that all the other people leave by then. i got enough people!!

To be honest, I'll try to make it, but it's all up to my Mom, unless there is some way I can get there and get back. I'd like to know when though, just in case I make it.
