Now that we have Rotom MD, why not use it with Wailord? You'd only have to put in some Felicity's Drawing to get the energies into the discad pile. I know Felicity may not be the best card to use with Claydol but I think Rotom is still worth considering.

That's an good idea, but what i have tested the broblem have been getting started (Claydol....) not energys, first Wailord can be whitout Energys as an Starter, then SSU/or KO it and the 200 HP swarm is ready.

Very true, but it might also be effective to have someone on the bench who can hide behind wailord and use a pokepower to influence the matchup (Gardevior and Venusaur are most likely the best).

Psychic energy would also be highly valuable in this deck, as you may just be able to nail Creselia's second attacking, fully refreashing wailord.

That's an good idea also, the thing is that there is no space.... But like 4-5 Psychic's would be nice because of WP (free retreat to my Wailord) + Cresselia GE's attack...

    4 wailmer
    4 wailord

    2 baltoy
    2 claydol

    2 cresselia
    2 cresselia lvx

    3 phione
    2 tauros

    2 unown G

    5 water
    2 psychic
    2 wp
    3 call energy
    4 dre

    4 celio
    3 roseanne
    3 steven
    3 copycat

    3 warp point
    2 wind storm
    3 night maint.

Try this out, it might work a little better. Theres plenty of good starts. Even Wailmer with a call energy is good, but the ideal start is phione with a way to get baltoy.

You have a shot againts GG because of cresselia hitting for weakness and 2 prizes. and your magmortar match is pretty good too because of weakness.

Imo you'll go a little too slow to be really competitive.

lol why don't we just go ahead and take out ALL the basic water....you probably need at least 7 or 8.

Leafeon Lv X can power up Wailord as well as heal him, why not use him?

    DAWN STADIUM and leafeon X

    (THATS ANNOYING, I know)

I second the Leafeon X :) However the deck would be making a turn in a different direction because Leafeon X is a much better attacker than Wailord by the time Wailord is ready to attack.

    4-4 wailord

    2-2 claydol

    4 phione

Suffers from early turn blues, say you get the phione but no basic, cramming the deck with great balls/roseannes and hoping to go 2nd. Then there is the problem of powering up wailord including the energy attachment to phione that's 5 turns of which by then gallade/mortar will be tearing you a new limb. Hope to sleep with phiones 2nd attack and stall a bit but that would be another energy attachment, place DRE on wailord but then 50dmg just seems rubbish.

Leafeon lvl.x may be a good idea for energy acceleration but it's another line you have to set up before your being slaughtered. and it's not like once you set up your gonna decimate because you'll be doing 60 dmg sleeping yourself and they will just sonic blade (unless you use holon energies - which will be hard to get out) for 2HKO's.

I dunno, I like wailord so I hope someone get's this deck to compete.

    As i said before, the energy's isn't a problem,
Gallade needs 3 Energys and have 130 HPs (43.33... HP for a 1 energy needed)
Gardevoir needs 3 energys and have 110 HPs (36.66... HP for a 1 energy needed)
Wailord needs 4 energys and have 200 HPs (50 HP for a 1 energy needed)

And still GG is the most popular deck?

im a little sceptical of wailord, is it consistant???

    Erm, DRE?

Gallade in theory can T1 (if he goes 2nd) or more likely T2 DRE Sonic blade and your down to 50 HP. Attach an energy next turn and then what?

You'll be attacking gallade (if you manage to) but having to do 3HKO's while gallade with DRE is not only faster but will 2HKO wailord.

Gallade can THKO any pokemon in the format with a DRE, and Gardevior can use your opponents supporters and lock powers....
This comparison does not work in your favor....

True, but if Wailord hits Gallade without Wailord having a DRE, that puts Gallade in perfect position for Cresselia to take 2 prizes, effectively 2HKO 2 pokemon. Even if Wailord had the DRE, Cresselia simply has ammo for its pokepower, moves one to Gallade, and takes the KO right there too.

Right after, Gardevior comes up, takes a prize on Cresselia.

This is the big deadlock we need to break. I could also imagine if you could squeeze a waterlog Blastoise or CG blastoise in here, it would be able to simply things a lot. In the event of a waterlog blastoise, the number of water energy in the deck would need to skyrocket, as well as either feraligater or Magneton HP to retreave the energies to power up the next wailord.

In the taking slightly less room category, Dewgong could work, as its body makes it take significantly reduced damage when it sleeps, allowing it to take shots from things that normally have the advantage on wailord, such as Gallade, forcing Gallade to need to flip 2 prizes to still get the 2HKO, or, if desperate, you may convince Galade to flip 4 if he can't afford the time to sonic blade.

Dewgong also makes an amazing counter to Gardevior comming up, as Gardevior can only damage a sleeping Dewgong for 20, which, by todays standards, and cresselia's delight, is almost not worth doing.

The thing is to try get fast Holon Energy WP+Water on active Wailord agaisnt GG/Plox, i know what GG/Plox can do but this is an new deck, you can't expect that it will win every tournament. GG/Plox/Magmortar are archetypes it's wrong to compare with my new and fun deck. I've newer losed a single game if i haved a good start, okey i haven't palyed agaisnt GG yet (i haven't tested this much because i have tested mor Plox and MBC...)

Did you seriously just say you have never lost a game against Gardevior Gallade because you haven't played it?
...Congradulations on bieng undefeated, enjoy your deck.

Yes, but i've beaten Blisseys, Magmortars, T2 Tunes, Empoleons..... And after like 5-20 maches i'll tell you more about what i feel. And i have played agaisnt GG too many times, i have only used diffrent deck's (like BMC, GG, Banette, Plox, DWD....)
