no offense to the NikePK - but I am not sure he could break into my top 4 of Psyduck, Bigpoppa, NEWMAN and Swanton1717. The younger 2 players are nasty players in their own right, and I was tempted to have 2 10- and no 11-14, but there are a large group I could have chosen, and, heh, would I bring NikePK along as an alternate, or myself???

Hey Meganium!
I think that is a challenge we hear in Ohio cannot back down to in the least! I for one will step up to the plate in our team, and I think I can say theres a good chance that Tom Dolezal, Gymbo, and JediDrew will also help round out our team. As for the 10- and 11-14 players, I would like it if James Davis's kids would round out the team as they are hands down the best 10- and 11-14 players I have seen in AGES. I cannot vouch for anyone but me and Drew, but I am all up for it. And if your REALLY up to a challenge, take on Team NEO. I propose the team of Me, Scizor, Venusaur, YoungJohn06 Monkeyman and anyone else from our site who is willing to join in. Let me know on either challenge, ok? That is a really cool idea though dude, seriously. It should be fun!

OK, Mudkip, NEO stands for North East Ohio - not deep South - and it is one of the STRONGEST play areas in the COUNTRY if not the world!
That would be a decent battle for the St. Louis players....maybe we can find time at Origins for something like this!

Box, no offense, there is noone in ChiTown that would hold a stick to Alex and Ness at this point. There are good players, but those 2 were on another level.
Heck, man, with you gone, what else would there be to chop through in Chicago?
I think their Gym Challenge is vulnerable to being invaded from Wisconsin and Missouri if they are not careful.

Meganium, when I referenced NEO I did indeed mean our Forum, Poke-Neo. The original forum was run by me and Trump Bunny for local players but has long since expanded to become the number one site for competitive gaming in terms of Pokemon. It would basically be a super team. I don't expect you would want to face us.
As for Origins that would be perfect. The Ohio team would be glad to accept any challengers. I can pretty much say Ohio is the hardest metagame right now in the world. I don't feel like I am being overconfident either. What would the rules for the 6 on 6 be? I suggest something along these lines...
Everyone takes 6 players. Everyone takes turns playing until they have faced every other player in a 2 out of three match play game. Record the win loss records. Such as 2-1, 2-0, etc. No time limits. We than compare those results. I have faith in our 10- and 11-14 players doing just fine vs 15+. Do you?

So yeah, I think that does qualify. Plus Stephen Davis is ranked 7th in the world global in constructed. Yeah.
I think Duece has a good chance at winning alot of events in Chicago too. I remember meeting him last year at Origins or Gen Con. Cool guy.

well i guess since my name has been mentioned, i might as well say that i'm up for it.....
oh and vince, i think that we should include Dr. T as an alternate, because he seems to have that effect on others in which he makes them pay for past crimes in previous lives, like having run over young children or dogs...... wait, that effect only applies to me!!! D'OH....
well i am very confident in our team, but it would be interesting to see which son of yours that you would pick VINCE..... that's one argument that i wouldn't want to see.... lol

Yeah, on a team of 7, with both sons having won 2 City Championships, it would be interesting.
Andrew is rated in the top 10 in the world now, and Zak is just plain silk at times (top 30 in the world). I would be damn tempted to drop the 11-14 rep, unless someone steps up in that division.
I would prefer a team of 6, nonetheless.
We will arrange this at origins...we will....
