washington oregon regionals

At the Oregon City Championships, it was announced that this year's NW Regionals will be on April 18th at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem.

Why is Oregon getting it again? Probably because Oregon Battle Roads and City Championships are drawing far more people then Washington's - some of the highest attendence numbers in the nation!
 
And Washington will not get it again. The year that Washington hosted a Regionals, the Northwest Region consisted of Oregon, Idaho, Washington and British Columbia. But now British Columbia has its own Regionals, and the powers that be do not want two regionals so close together, so Oregon will host it for the forseeable future.

Now the decision is weather to drive all the way down to Salem for the bigger event, or drive up to Vancouver for the closer smaller event. I have not yet decided where to go yet. (To bad we can not do both)

A string of two in a row does not make a pattern. We do not know that the Western Canada Regional will always be in Vancouver BC. Which means that the NW Regionals may not always be in Oregon.

You might ask POP if someone from the United States wins a Regionals in Canada, will they get a trip to US Nationals or CA Nationals?

Well if it was just two in a row, but it is 4 out of the last 5. I would like to see regionals in Washington again, and I am a little dissapointed that it is not because I was telling everyone in my Leage all year long that Washington would be hosting it this year.

Well I might if I had a 1-100 chance of winning a Regionals, but that is really not something that I need to worry about.
