^ Much can happen on the first "day". It surely sets the stage for the rest of the game.
Like werewolf 14 - 1 lynched, 1 suicide, 1 wolf (ALPHA!), and the cleric all died. On day 1. Things happen.

I'm SUPPOSED to be doing homework now....I'll send PMs out with Read Receipts. People don't have to post role received. So long as I get a read receipt saying they opened and read their PM from everyone, I'll start the game in the mean time. EVERYONE make sure you have room in your PM box.
I didn't get a "read" receipt wanted alert and it appears several others didn't either.
Should we ask for the signatures to be disabled for this thread like it is for CotD? It is a way to communicate as well.

I'll second waynegg's call to remove signatures from this thread. I will certainly uncheck the "show your signature" radio button when I post.
Day 1 can spark a lot in a good game. Discussion will lead the game. Seeing how people respond to others getting framed and getting framed themselves will help a lot. Random voting certainly helps, but only if it is in depth. "IDK don't vote" is dumb as it gets nothing done. "IDK kill person X" is much better as at least it lets people discuss who is getting voted for. It may kill someone good, but it'll help let us know who is playing aggressively, and what-not.
If there is no Night 0 then Vote: Nobody is by no means an unusual play. It's the standard play on one major Mafia website. I am unsure, however, as to how this forum would respond to that suggestion once the game has started and all people have read their roles.
Absoltrainer, are you giving us a setup overview or are we going to have to figure that out for ourselves? I'm not really expecting one now that we're midway through role PMs, though.
