seriously though
they will be a currency with which you will be able to pay for your trades-see PTCGO's multiplayer screenshots thread.
The duration of your trade(how long your trade will be shown in the trade section) will be determined by how many tokens you will pay for,for a maximum of 24 hours if i remember correctly.
and before you ask when that will be available--->"soon", "coming soon" :lol:

from what i have heard you have to pay tokens in order to create a market lot for trade. So yeah nothing to buy onfortunately

I'm pretty certain that Tokens are going to be used to buy "Play Items" such as card sleeves and playmats once they become available in the shop. You'll notice when saving a custom deck that there are options for card sleeves and playmats, but those can't be changed yet.
