What is the daily Pokemon AR

Not sure where to put this so here I guess
So what is the daily Pokemon AR?
I have a 3DS so I might have a clue on it but not sure I mean I have 3DS AR cards
But what does this do?

It is a portal for Prime to look into your sole!

It is the Augmented Reality Marker you can view with your 3DS. If you have Pokedex 3D Pro- you can view the marker to add the Pokemon into the Pokedex. It changes daily.
