What is the "Fun Format"

Under Tournament Rules & resources - Ratings & Rankings Explained, in the 3rd paragraph it states -


Pokémon Organized Play uses a few different ratings to track player performance in different kinds of events. Modified, 2-on-2, Limited, and the Fun Format are each only affected by matches that are played in events of that type.

So the question is, just what is the fun format & when can I start sanctioning it?, (as well as 2 on 2)

Probably will be released with the upcoming update for the Floor Rules and other documents. Maybe Fun Format = Mutant Draft?

Well since i don't see the term "Unlimited", maybe "Fun" = "Unlimited"?

I'm pretty sure it's just another term for unlimited, I know i've heard of a rule set called that before though.

But in my personal opinion, "Fun" Isn't the term i would use for unlimited. To me it's just more cards to be worried about crushing your deck, lol.

Sounds like they mean either Unlimited or fan-created formats (such as Mutant, Peasant, and Chaos Gym).

Of course, every format can be fun if you pour your heart and soul in it.
