Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What's going on in Ohio?

Let me guess The one at the guardtower is the only one right?
We need more things like leagues for ohio to survive in pokemon! We have nationals but no leagues? What gives?! We need all our ohio players to step up and make a change in this game!

Ya should look a little closer at the league Locator results, i went to the OP website, and there are currently 11 leagues listed for ohio. i personally attend 3 of them.

where are you located in ohio, i'll be more than happy to look up and email ya info on your closest league myself.

Oh, never mind.. I was thinking about major events like Regionals and Tournaments. My bad. xD

If you know what's going to happen with any major stuff in Ohio, I'd really appreciate it if ou could dig up some info

The tournament 'year' just ended, with Worlds; the next year's premier events have not been scheduled as of yet...so that's why you're not finding them in the locator. Be patient...

Yes, mom. -.-.... j/k

I'd think that it would make more sense that they'd have Worlds done and cleaned up a bit faster.... It's just bad to know you're not going to get #A play untill 3 months after.

Oh well. if I can do this with only going to Regionals in YGO, this can too.

There's a Tournament on 9/18 at the Location Where North Royalton League is Held, sadly i will not personally be there. but don't be afraid to go. the people are SUPER NICE!

as for stuff like Cities/Prereleases/States/Gyms/Nats/Regionals....... errr yeah, follow mom's advice.

patient is good! the new tournament season just started.

go to league. practice your new modified deck! find something you enjoy playing,

Prereleases start up again towards the end of October.

Is a two month break really that hard to handle, considering that the judges/TOs/PTOs/POP staff have been going nonstop with events throughout the past 5 months or so?

IMO after Worlds, POP staff _deserve_ a vacation. If you've not worked at a large event like that, you've NO IDEA just how much work it is to put on...nor just how tired one is afterwards.

Give the people who put all this on for you to enjoy a break, please...=/

JMHO,

Never thought like that, Poke'mom. Greedy old me :thumb: ...

Mikermon. I would go along with what my plan is in the Modified deck forum, but all the sudden people are saying it's bad with Exeggutor in there. I'll probably need a tutor for building strategies up, and it seems EX Poke's are the best to go by, but I've got a sucky budget.

I run a league in Mansfield, Ohio, if that helps any. Also I am the PTO that covers the Columbus area for Premier Events, plus I will be expanding my area for the next Prerelease. But I will save that news for another time and place.

I run one of the leagues in the Cleveland area, if you are ever up this way. I'm also the PTO for Northeast Ohio. We have pre-releases and City Championships, once the new season starts. You can PM me if you have questions about league schedules (no info on premiere events yet).
