What's up with the Gym? Aug 2013

We reinstalled the operating system and upgraded the forum software. We're currently rebuilding everything, so please be patient. Check the 'announcement' atop each forum for more info.

We found some baddies on the system (not the forum) that came in via the OpenX server - read the link, basically this was the one time updating hurt us - the OpenX ad server had a trojan backdoor in the v2.8.10 software download from Nov 2012 to Aug 2013. And we updated to that version. We had a little extra security on the admin folder in that app, but it was one of the standard plug-ins that was shipped to us with the trojan backdoor. Once that happens to a system, rebuild is the only sure option.

We took the site offline Sunday August 18 1pm and the forums were back up Sunday August 18 11pm.

Well, its a bad time to be temporarily down on functionality, but we'll take it as a good opportunity to get some heavy upgrading done. Please be patient as we restore your favorite functionality (and go beyond)!

As an update to the update of the Gym, tonight the iTrader system and Post Thanks addons were updated back in, as well as some behind the scenes items were fixed.

The Gallery, RT, the Front Page, as well as a couple others require custom coding by the developers, so those are going to take a few more days than we would like.

However, we are working on things as fast as possible to get the Gym back to normal and better - and more secure - in the process.

I'm working on the PokeGym Blue and Gold style for the forum. I've set it as the default style for the forum, so everyone should be using it, but if you would like to use the default style, you can change that in the drop down box located at the bottom left hand side of the forum.

If you like the style, awesome! If you don't like certain parts of it, like color choices that clash, feel free to Private Message me your thoughts. Thanks!
