Pit
The good: good aeirals and semi good ground attacks. Able to handle spammers better then most other characters. Long range ability fast and can be precise. Two types of reflects. One of the best recoveries, to a point.
The Bad: Can possibly have the worst recovery.

Mario: He's all around, good aeirals.

Pikachu: Down A is awesome for people who just dodge around you annoyingly. Speed sure blah blah.

Metaknight: I've been using him lately, I just like juggling a billion hits on people. And probably the best at gliding.

Ice Climbers: Unstoppable. If you know how to alternate grab. God power.

C. Olimar: Fun to use, but annoying when people edge guard you so you can't recover. (Same goes for lucario, cept less fun.)

Sonic: Can wun weally wast.

Ike: I've only seen one Ike user that totally kicks butt without spamming.

Ganon: just plain sucks now.

Just reasons why I like and dislike some characters.

That sounds strange at first, but I can see whaty you mean. It's slow and doesn't do anything to opponents, so you're just asking to get meteor smashed.

Any good Pit player will make it fast and make it hurt. Trust me, only a bad Pit player would let you get an easy meteor smash in.

^^ Yea right, Ike loves the heavy start-up on Pit's B*UP*

I really like Ikes Air-A*Down* meteor smash, such a nice range and it's pretty quick when compared to other meteor smashes! (And the rest of Ike's moves...) :thumb:
Only problem is Ike's nasty set of recovery moves...

I've seen two Ike users who are good without spamming him. I've also seen three who, for the reasons stalkerx said, are simply epic fail.

Yoshi is still my best, his ^B has been improved.

Wolf is also really good.

I have gotten pretty good with Wario.

Ganandorf is not the best, but my favorite move is his strong side A. BOOT!

I like Olimar and Kirby personally, both are just really great. Kirby in particular deserves props for being vastly improved over his Melee counterpart, to the point where he's as dominating as his old original self.

Falco is a lot of fun for the aerials. He is just different from Fox and Wolf for some reason. I believe part of it is the very useful disruption Reflector. The laser gives people problems for some reason. All in all, every single one of his attacks have a use, so he can take on everyone pretty well.
King DeDeDe is really good too. He can 2HKO Bowser with ease. The Waddles and Gordos are really helpful, and he can throw guys off with some deceptive moves as well. There is also the fact that he is a heavyweight that can go out after a guy and come back to the stage without a problem. Another added bonus is that he is underestimated by people I play, who think I am joking when I select him. Did I mention his obscene power?
Still, my favorite character is most definitely Luigi. Luigi gets tremendous recovery and surprise moves. The aerials have ridiculous knockback. The Luigi Cyclone covers so much horizontal distance on the ground that you can use it for approach, and covers so much vertical distance in the air it is used for recovery. Luigi's Final Smash is the coolest one in the game. Use it for edge guarding and see what happens.
So those are my favorites.

Not even close to why it sucks.
If put gets hiy by anything that has knockback at all while in his up B, he'll start falling.
Wolfs/falcos laser, etc. will send him down to the ground.

So if you're off to the side, you can easily be killed.

Pit's my main, I know his weaknesses and strengths. Only thing I have to do with him more is glide, but I use control stick to jump, and it's at least twice as hard to glide with that. eh.

I feel like playing right now, anyone on?

That's cause Game and Watch is annoying. And his stage always kills me. By itself. I'm serious, my opponents have to hit me all of once on that stage and I'm getting ricocheted back and forth and all over the stage for fifteen seconds at a time. Which is painful. Bright side, I main Lucario, so if I live that actually benefits me.

eh, I havn't used Mr.G&W that much. He seems ok.
I find it weird how his up air will make your opponent float if it doesn't hit him and is just close to him.

It's true, G&W has some decent attacks with good priority, and an experienced G&W player can probably give a lot of people a hard time. Still, he is annoying to most, and thusly, not a lot of people even consider him seriously when they select a character to play as. That was what I was like with King DeDeDe, but then I looked at the GameFAQs guide, the reason being that I was curious to see why it was largest character guide by far. It turned out to be the most well written article I have ever seen on GameFAQs, and I was able to see the light with DeDeDe and become quite good with him. I have a feeling people who give G&W a serious chance, they will see some really good stuff come out of him.

Ike does not fail at life
Ike does not fail at life

G&W is now broken. His smashes are all pretty fast, his ^B lets him continue to attack, and the Octopus destroys everyting in smaller stages.

Kirby, all the way (once in a while Mr. Game and Watch and Meta Knight).

Kirby is an awesome character when played with the right kinds of people. You rack up the damage with the 4 types of punches and kicks, and then one stone or hammer attack will almost guarantee a KO. I don't really like the inhale because its horrible in a 4 player match (because if you use it when all characters are together, then you might not get one that you want inhale), and if your battling against a not so great character (for example: Peach [just because i think she's bad doesn't mean you have to hate her or hate me for that], because then there's one special attack that's worthless). Final Cutter is okay, but never use it for recovery (is it suppose to be a recovery move?). Its final smash is interesting, and if your opponent(s) have a lot of damage on them, it has a higher chance of sucking them in and almost insuring a KO. All in all, Kirby is a great character.

Depends on how you play. Toad can actually be really good if in the right hands, same as with every character and attack.

Final Cutter is okay, but never use it for recovery (is it suppose to be a recovery move?).

Actually, if you're close enough to the edge, it's a great recovery move, because you can either get in a free shot at walling opponents, or catch the ledge.
